I bought these speakers because they had a good price and high watts, I like to play my music LOUD every once and a while and so I wanted to make sure that the speakers won't blow out on me like my last ones did, well first off these speakers sound great, it has a crisp sound that doesn't get all muffled when you turn the volume up, second they give off a pretty good little bump for not having an amp attached and just running off the radio, the price was a reason i was skeptical about these being good speakers, but they've been working very well for the week that i've been "testing" them out, a set back was that these speakers didn't fit like amazon says they would, i had four 6.5inch speakers in my car that were factory speakers, when i took the two back ones up and lined these up with the holes i found them to be slightly too small for the back, when trying to match them up with the front speakers which sit in my doors they looked to match up better but i wasn't about to take my door panels off my car in this cold ass weather and since the weather outlook wasn't too good i wanted to get my speakers in right away so i kinda ghetto fied the speakers into the back where two of the screws line up but the third one is slightly too far and the fourth one i had to put the screw on the outside of the speaker just to make sure it would move or rattle, i have a 95 camaro and i'm deciding later to get slightly bigger speakers and put them in the back and switch these to the front, also i think i read that someone said these light up blue? i'm not sure if i read that right but these don't seem to light up, they still look good though and sound great, overall i would recommend these to someone looking for good speakers for a good price but just make sure you really measure up before getting these to see if they're the right size

Buying my car used, the previous owner had stripped all of the audio equipment out of it. I bought these speakers as a temporary stand-in until I am ready to invest in some quality audio components. I wanted something that was of reasonable quality, but as cheap as possible. I purchased both the 6.5" and 4x6 speakers for my car (nissan 240sx) and installed them in using speaker adapters. I am honestly shocked at the quality of the audio for these things. $26 total investment for 4 speakers, the sound is reasonably loud (loud enough to overcome the rattles and straight-through 3" exhaust on this car...) and the sound quality isn't all that bad. Yes, audiophiles, stay away. But for the rest of us that just want speakers, the mids and lows are actually pretty well articulated. Bass response was decent, mids sound relatively clean with distortion only creeping in at about 75% volume (on my stereo head unit, no ext. amp) The highs however are atrocious. Distortion sets in very early, the sound isn't all that good to begin with, and there is a definite crackle in the tweeters. I would recommend clipping the tweeters out of this thing and hooking up an actual tweeter elsewhere if you want to upgrade your audio a bit more. That said... better speakers can be had for the price of the upgrade so not sure if it's worth it if these sound characteristics are unacceptable. So, in short, if you have have very old speakers, blown ones, or a complete absence of speakers in your car, these are a good value for getting audio back into your vehicle. It will never sound really good, but they do the job well enough. Also, if you listen to bass-heavy music, these may be a better value for you than someone like me who likes music with lots of high frequency stuff in it.

I bought these for my truck but was in denial of installing them after reading reviews but got some tips from YouTube on the correct way to install them and I’m glad I kept them these sound amazing perfect sound more than expected for those reviews that said they didn’t sound good I don’t no what you were expecting

So after reading the other reviews here on Amazon, I decided to try these speakers out. I wasn't looking to have my mind blown but I was looking forward to something better than the 20 year old speakers that were completely dried up in my existing car. And thats exactly what I got...Better speakers than what I had. For the money, you honestly can't complain but these speakers are not ideal for any type of LOUD music. The mid-level frequencies get CRUSHED under any substantial load. Base response is practically zilch but when combined with a subwoofer, they are actually not that bad. I have no idea what Pyle does to rate their speakers but ... 360watts is absolutely a farce. The magnet on each speaker is TINY. The 20 year old Pioneers that came with my car had way bigger magnets. Not that magnets are the whole story but sheesh. When I opened these new out of the box, I was starting to worry at the size of the magnet. In the end, these speakers are capable of being loud when coupled with an amp, but don't expect too much tonal clarity - especially in the mid range. You would think a 3-way speaker would have a decent mid but these do not. Everything gets crushed and requires you to EQ the center band. If you have a 5 band EQ, you might get away with it but anything else will be limited with regards to the audio output. So three stars for these guys because they do what you want for the money but in the long run, you will be throwing them out after some use. They got me out of an audio bind in the car as well as a financial bind with the wife but honestly, you are better off saving up another $40 and dropping the money on some way better speakers.

I got these speakers for my '97 Lexus ES300. My factory speakers were literally falling apart in the car. I bought 4 speakers to replace all the ones in the doors. First of all--these speakers are meant for the front two doors of my car--the holes for the back speakers are smaller, so perhaps a set of 6" speakers or 6.3" speakers would work better. I had to screw the back ones in to get them to stay, and then the factory grill had to be removed and replaced with the Pyle grill (which looks kind of cool, but also kind of weird at the same time considering the Lexus speaker grill is not a perfect circle). The Pyle grill comes in two parts, and the actual grill parts falls out from time to time, so I'll need to glue it in for it to stay...No big deal since I rarely have people in the backseat. The front speakers fit perfectly inside the hole in the door, so the speaker doesn't stick out and the factory grill can be used. They've been in my car for a couple months now, and I admit they're amazing for the price. Very good sound, clear, loud, little to no buzzing (though you can pretty clearly hear the sound of the entire car rattling when the bass booms). There don't appear to be adverse effects as a result of screwing the speakers into the door, which is wonderful. I have an aftermarket radio, and don't need to turn up the volume all the way to get as loud as I want it to be. Considering my car is 20 years old now, I don't see myself keeping it much longer, but having these speakers certainly helps me enjoy my daily 45 minute commute. I'm very satisfied with them.

They kick ass. I'm a life long firm believer in pioneer bang for the buck, but these pyles are impressive. So far. I don't have them on an amplifier yet, just on the line level, that's why I said "so far" I have the 6×9 pyles in the back and 6" matching pyles in the front doors. I have a pioneer deh 160bt head unit, the four pyles and a 15" Rockville sub in a bass tube that I made from a 16" concrete sono tube. With all the adjustments that the pioneer head unit has, it really hits hard and believe it or not, even without an amplifier on the pyles,the highs are super clear. What I do is turn the remote bass knob down and then turn the head unit up until the point just before distortion and then you do the same for the remote bass knob. I'm going to paint the bass tube when I'm done with the bodywork and I'll paint it with the rest of the car, so don't laugh

I have had them for about 2 years and they don’t last like they should. When working sound is decent but not as good as it should be. Easy to install but overall poor. Save yourself time and buy different speakers.

Habe diese Lautsprecher eigentlich für das Auto meines Sohnes gekauft , da keine Radio verbaut war, soweit sogar. Radio eingebaut , anschließend in den Vordertüren ein Paar Lautsprecher von Crunch , ebenfalls alles ok. Aber es klang mit nur zwei Lautsprecher etwas Gewöhnung bedürftig, also diese für die hinteren Türen gekauft, verbaut Kabel gelegt natürlich nicht die Kabel , die im set dabei waren , alles angeschlossen , fader mal nach hinten gesetzt am Radio und siehe da , sie klingen wesentlich besser als die vorne verbauten von crunch , sauberer klang , leichten Bass in der Rückenlehne ist zu spüren , also für eine selbst gebaute möchte Serien Anlage , nur zu empfehlen
