So much nicer than I expected. NOT plastic (phew) and the colors are true to photo. Truly comforting to look at.

Beautifully made, looks worth more than what I paid
It was exactly what I hoped for. My mom loved it, and I figured that even though it was for Christmas, she could leave it out all year. Don't have pics b/c I gave it as a gift, but it came perfectly packed in styrofoam shaped around the statue, and felt very solidly made. Excellent quality, very pleased.

Green Mary with Baby
I bought this a gift for my mother during Christmas. I love this statue very unique never seen one like it before. I love the colors and the way Mary is holding baby Jesus so naturally. It is so peaceful and sometimes I just stare at her as I walk by. I just never see the color green associated with the Virgin, and something about it reminds me of Lent and the month of March, of course.

Nurturing Mother
Although possibly intended as a "Christmas" piece, I couldn't bear to put her away. So she remains on my prayer altar as a reminder of the fragility of life and the nurturance we receive each day that we are also called to share with others

Beautiful Statue~but too Green
A Beautiful Looking Statue, but alas,~ The green on the garments appears to have seeped into the face of Mary and Sweet Baby Jesus .... The body and hands had a greenish tint. ...I would have preferred more of the "Mary Blue" in this statue and better shading work....
