I do not usually review anything online but this item was an exception! My cats never seem interested in them. While they will play with just about anything for a few seconds, whether it is a toy or not, they will go right back to their box or start fighting! Finally I saw this Pets First Cat Ball toy in a store (they were a little expensive - when I have to buy so many for all my kitties it adds up...) so I searched on Amazon & I found that they were much cheaper & I bought a whole lot of them! These balls with bells are their favorite toy above everything else! They are finally starting to play! (don't ask how much noise they make... Lol) They like it best if I throw the balls for them to chase, but if not, they'll happily bat the balls around on their own, knock them down the stairs, or pick them up and carry them somewhere. The bells in these seem to have a preferred sound over similar balls I've gotten from local pet stores, as the ones from elsewhere are ignored & the colors are also very attractive! Best part, these balls are big enough so they don't get pushed under furniture during intense play sessions. They are also very solid & durable! I tried cracking one ball just to make sure that they are safe & that the inner bell won't come out BUT I WASN'T ABLE TO BRAKE IT!!!

My puppy loves this ball. There was one sharp piece we cut off, but so far Cookie loves this We recently purchased another as the first one got caught under our recliner. It survived but now having two seems like a more fun idea for her. Hope yours enjoys.

Cats scared of it

I realize that this toy is for cats, but this is my 12 lb Dorkie's (dachshund/yorkie) favorite toy to play "soccer". It's the perfect size for him to see and kick. The openings allow him to pick it up and carry it where he wants to throw it down and start playing.

Our new kitten is obsessed with a ball with bells. Except the one we had was so small it ended up under the sofa or arm chair. I got more exercise than the cat trying to retrieve it! This one is perfect. Kitten Frankie loves it and I don't have to get up every few minutes to retrieve it! Good value for the price!

I’m afraid my cat can get a paw stuck in one of the sharp edged holes in this ball. That’s how big it is. I wanted a cat ball that was bigger than the usual tiny cat balls that get lost under furniture. This one is much too big. Maybe good for a puppy or dog that’s bigger than a cat as long as they don’t bite down on it? I’m really disappointed for the price.

I got this ball for my 3 month old Frenchie. She absolutely loves it… to the point that somehow the ball inside, which acts like a bell broke in half and fell out. She would still bat it around some, but without the noise she wasn’t nearly as interested. Given that it had only been 3 weeks, I contacted the seller. Though there is not a warranty, they offered to ship Rosie a new ball. Could not more highly recommend, especially given A+ customer service.
