Excellent mini pc for the money.
An excellent little box which I have installed a 160gb SATA hard drive for extra storage. The ethernet download achieved so far is 70Mbps and WiFi is 62Mbps. I would have liked more USB sockets but I have got around this by plugging in an adapter for a further 3.

Decent piece of computing hardware
Absolutely splendid piece of technical equipment. Why have a large metal box with computer parts in it when you can have a small plastic box with computer parts in it?Runs just like a normal computer but a tenth of the size. The only downside I can think of is that the fan speeds up when you do something like open a program even though it is not running hot. Apart from that it’s great! Have a great day everyone I hope you have a really good 24 hours!

Fast impressive small box
My big laptop took up a lot of room on my desk and would not run 2 big external monitors. At 5 years old it is still going strong but one of my children can make good use of it so I indulged myself in buying the BeeLink U55 to replace it. This little box now sits out of the way on a shelf above my desk. I have run 2 HDMI cables from it to external monitors sitting at the back of my desk. So now I have a very uncluttered desk with what turns out to be a surprisingly fast computer that sits silently and barely shows any sign of warming up.It is fast enough to run heavyweight software such as Microsoft Visual Studio on one screen while watching Netflix or YouTube on the other. With 8 GB RAM, there is no problem having dozens of browser tabs open, other apps left open, etc. And the 256 GB SSD gives me plenty of space for my needs.I had no problem going through the Windows 10 setup procedure. My printer and scanner being a few years old now, were recognised by Windows, which installed drivers for them, saving me the hassle of loading the bloatware that comes with printers and scanners etc.The only downside of switching from a laptop to a desktop PC is that laptops do not stop when mains power goes off. Unfortunately there are no desktop PCs that have built-in batteries, and if they did, it would not help, as the external monitors would need powering too. Not much concern really, though, as power cuts don't happen often.I am a happy customer and can recommend this mini PC.
