An amazing product when you can slow things down to learn. I knocked off 1 star because who in their right mind decided to leave off the second part of each solo on crossroads? Gggrrrrr!

I bought this book as many tabs on the net are incorrect .This book is 100% tab correct.You get a CD which you can pan the speakers and take out the lead guitar and play a long. All the major songs are in there apart from Bad love which im gutted about . A word of warning you have to be up to scratch on your playing i.e. being able to bend accurately etc .Definately not for the beginner to intermediate player.But what would you expect it is Slowhands himself and the author can not make it any easier for you as it just would'nt sound right.Im finding it hard going but its interesting seeing and listening how EC plays it.The book series seems very good ,you may want to pick an easier artist or band than EC.

I have been looking for a good, detailed version of Clapton's solo on Crossroads and have only found this in this particular songbook. I really like its detailed handling of a few particular songs, and the amount of information about each song. I am an amateur guitarist at best. For my level and needs, it has been exactly what I wanted.

Bad! Bad! Bad! Love your guitar work Eric but your teaching abilities suck. Bought your book used with the CD for .49 cents. Turned out that was too much! I wanted to play like you and this book didn't help me at all. You never played the lead notes at full speed and then slow speed so I could learn your "Licks"! Sorry I wasted all that money. NOT pleased!
