Meister Double-Sided XL Floor Mat Tape - Secures Exercise Mats & Rugs in Place - 3in x 30yd

I used these tape to secure the TUFFIOM 7.5 x 20 FT Garage Floor Mats to my garage floor over the gym rubber mats that I repurposed to cover the garage floor but didn't like the gaps it left between the two mats as well as areas I couldn't cover with those mats. This tape was easy to apply to the TUFFIOM 7.5 x 20 FT Garage Floor Mats, I was also able to fairly easily realign the tape when I was misaligning them. They were strong enough not to rip apart when I pulled them back to realign it on the mat. After having applied it to one end of the mat and cutting it to size, I peeled off the paper backing to expose the sticky side of the tap that would go on the gym rubber mat, that I prepped and cleaned by spraying Isopropyl Alcohol and wiping them dry where the tape would make contact. The tape stuck well to the mats and secured them to my satisfaction without any issues. they were thin enough not to show any bulge. Drove my car over the mats after they were secured with the tap and they held up pretty well. So far so good.

Wow this tape is the real deal. Creates a super bond compared to the Duck brand I used previously. You get so much more tape too compared to other brands. Exceeded my expectations. I used for taping together EVA gym floor tiles (had to stack them) and there is no movement at all because the adhesive is so strong.

Wow is this tape strong. I used it to secure an exercise mat to vinyl floor. But years later I had to remove the mat and tape and I wanted to cry. The tape was so so hard to remove! I first tried using goo gone and a scraper. Then I tried denatured alcohol and goof off pro. Between the three of those products, it took three days to get the main layers off. Then I was left with very sticky, gummy adhesive. I finally used nail polish remover which finished removing it. But ugly I ruined some of the vinyl floor in the process. So I would consider this permanent tape! Four stars for its strength and one star for removing it.

Works great. One thing I love is how easy it is to get the top wax tape off. It has an amazing hold and worked great with my rubber flooring. My only wish is that it came in black. But since it was described accurately I feel it deserves 5 stars. Would buy again.

I bought this tape based on reviews, price/lineal foot, width available and lead time. This tape did what I purchased it to do. Adhesion on prepared concrete basement floor is good. It comes off the roll very smooth and easy to lay down. My only issue with it, is when positioning the rubber mats (3) 4x15 rolls, it was very difficult to get the backer off. It would tear off in random length pieces. The backer IS NOT a Kraft brown paper type backer. It’s white, very thin, shiny and slick. It’s just a pain to remove the backer at least on the two rolls I bought. I would definitely recommend the product. It does what it says it will do and easy to put on. It’s just the backer issue. Take your time, be patient and you’ll be good.
