Better buy it >:)
(The review is gonna be long; stay with me) These inks are freaking amazing. Though most people bought these for writing, I, on the other hand, bought 'em for inking work in drawing. I used manga nibs (Tachikawa G). Though the nibs don't hold the ink much properly as they would hold the actual manga inks, but it's enough. I was scared that I would face the problems of opening 'em for the first time like other people did, but nope! They changed the packaging! Grateful asf. As for the bleeding, it just depends on the paper, really. Make sure to use thicker GSM paper, and it will be more amazing if it's hot pressed (for cold pressed, the paper kinda comes off piece by piece/ layer by layer because of the sharpness of the nib). What's more amazing that you can mix the inks and make beautiful shades :). If you are using them with nibs/brush and keep changing colour (for that obviously you have to clean the nibs/brush again and again in the brush/nib cleaning water jar/glass), then the jar/glass water will be most beautiful thing you ever see. You will be in awe. I will share the photo of this next time I start a project. I actually haven't drawn much using these but here are some doodles and some writing. Also a colour swatch! The colour swatch paper is 300 GSM and cold pressed. In the lower part of the swatch, colours are aligned in terms of their value (darkest to brightest; left to right). The red doodles and handwriting one is ivory sheet (I don't know the GSM :( ). And the khaki paper is 140 GSM. Note that it's bleeding ON THE PAPER, NOT THROUGH IT, not only because of the low GSM, but khaki paper is usually suitable for graphite and charcoal. The camera is not doing justice to these, but anyways- I Hope this review helped you. Have a great day and shop wisely!

Frankly, this is ur only choice.
Not many varieties available if you wanna use multiple coloured inks to write. So you will end up buying this. But the purchase will be a mixed experience. The ink is watery. Even more watery than camelin. The thickest ink I have used is quink. Quink/camelin stain my finger for a couple of days, but daytone ink was easily removed after a single wash. I doubt these inks show any resistance to water. It might not be very pleasurable to write with coz the ink did not flow as evenly as quink/camelin does for my pen but colours are bright when the ink dries which takes like 2 seconds. Might be a different case for fine nib pens coz with medium nibs, the results are tolerable. Light colours will look inconsistent. Dark colours will look even. Each bottle is 60 ml and made of plastic so this purchase will last a long time. even for 700, this isn't expensive. Packaging was good. No damaged product recieved. Buy a syringe to refil ur cartridges. It will be less messy that way coz the nozzel in the bottle didn't fit my cartridge.

I WAS SCEPTICAL BUT WOW!!!
Fresh review coming through + FAQs answered: I have never used inks before. I recently wanted to try out dip pens( for calligraphy) but the set I had from a long time ago needed a bottle of ink. So after some research I found some answers: 1)Fountain pen ink can be used in calligraphy pens, fountain pens, dip pens and brushes. 2)But calligraphy ink CANNOT be used in fountain pens. They WILL clog the fountain pen. 3) Inks can be water resistant or waterproof. Water resistant means that it won't completely mix with small amounts of water but if the amout of water is more( like you spilled water on the page) it will mix . Water proof, means fully waterproof. It can withstand alot of water. Now for the REVIEW: As a first timer, I haven't bought other inks like Windsor & Newton, Camlin or Parker but I wanted multiple colours at a worthy price so I decided to buy these Daytone inks. THEY ARE VERY VIBRANT AND YOU GET EVERYTHING YOU ARE PROMISED. I used both the dip pen and a normal paint brush to use the ink. The colours are opaque ,vibrant and the inks are water resistant. You can add water to the ink( if you are using a brush, don't add water to the bottle) and make lighter ink washes too. I tested it all, they make even washes. Even if while using the ink if one area has a blob of ink, it evens itself out. When using a brush, it acts as an amazing brush pen. The ink flows beautifully and smoothly. Do keep in mind that some inks are very ink heavy so they spread out a bit, especially using a dip pen but that depends on the paper. I used an 80 gsm paper I think. VERDICT: Buy it. If you want a whole range of ink colours that are vibrant and don't want to spend a lot of money. It's worth it. I've never heard of Daytone but seeing the reviews here, I have it a shot and wow. I love it. Colours: 5/5 Vibrancy: 5/5 Range: 5/5 ( yellow, brown and various hues of reds, blues and greens) Worth the price: 4/5 ( the delivery charge is a little heavy so it deterred me from buying this, atleast in the beginning) Quantity: 5/5 Product as expected:5/5 Packaging and delivery:5/5

Vibrant, high saturation and awesome colours!!
These are super! Vibrant! High pigment saturation! I used a diluted version for tie-&-dye and it turned out brilliant. I painted with these and they were bright and eye-catching! The price is steal for the quality. Go for it and they are of' course great in pens as well.

To start with, I read a lot of reviews here as well as the other places the comments weren't totally encouraging. Then I asked a friend of mine at IG whom I had seen using Daytone ink. She gave me a bit of confidence and I purchased both ink pens (15 of them) and this set of ink. The ink was vibrant, a bit watery, true to colour mostly. I have attached the pictures of the various colours apart from the primary ones. I have no complaints so far. Also it stained my fingers very well which explains why it is rich in pigment. A plus point for me. Difficult to open the air tight stopper. Wish it was more easier and came with some droppers for the light colours. You can see my clean my ink pens, and my love for ink pens and me using daytone inks, at instagram / abujoist.
