AMAZING ART + STORY - WELL WORTH THE BUY *VERY VERY LIGHT SPOILERS BELOW*
This has to be one of my favourite Batman stories I’ve ever read. The narrative itself is so damn cool. Pitching Batman against a version of himself that has no limits or barriers. The inclusion of The Grim Knight also adds a really cool aspect to the novel - creating a really cool sequence in the final issue of the novel. The art in this book is insane, again, potentially contain some of my favourite panels I’ve read in a Batman comic. My only issue was that I had to do some external reading into the past of James Gordon Jr (regarding what he’d done in past storylines to land himself in the position we see him in during the story). Other than that I had no real issues w the comic.

Excellent quality and storyline.
I've heard about this story but wasn't sure. Suffice to say, I prefer hardcover when it comes to comic books and this one arrived in top tier condition.I'm a massive 2000AD fan and I was reminded of Judge Death looking at the cover so I had to pick it up.Cup of tea on the go to read with and from the few pages I've read so far, I'm not going to be disappointed with this.

Great story, disappointing finish
As is common with DCs darkest stories The Batman who Laughs is a great read and explores the psychology of the bat well, however I can’t help but feel the writers wrote themselves into a corner and the ending feels a bit contrived.Don’t let this put you off however, the journey is well worth taking, I just felt the ending was not of the calibre layed out through the rest of the story.

Superior to the Heavy Metal story in every way
Prior knowledge to the previous story is needed but this story is more personal and gripping and shows the lengths that Bruce Wayne(s) will go to win. It has a satisfying conclusion too.

batman but not as you know him...
This tale excellently takes Batman down nearly as far as he could go. Jocks artwork matches the tone so very well.Excellent

Great for any comic book fans and newbies!
My boyfriend LOVES comic books. especially the new fifty-two issue of batman which is supposed to be one of the best batman stories of all time. I'm not sure how this comic fits into the timeline or publishing line of batman. However, this is a full story which requires little to know extra knowledge apart from the basic backstory of batman and the joker. This means that it is rather easy to simply pick this up and read with no prior batman or comic book knowledge which is fantastic! Its great that this was so cheap for a hardback when i bought this, only £16. This is a huge amount of content for such a cheap price! I would definitely recommend this story as it is honestly, fantastic! Personally, I don't really read a lot of comic books and am not the biggest fan but i picked up this story very easily and loved it!

A dark masterpiece!
Having introduced the Dark Multiverse, Snyder takes us on a hellish journey with a truly nightmarish character from beyond - the Batman Who Laughs.IThis imagining of Batman and the Joker is a genuine thrill ride. I won't go into the plot for fear of spoiling it, but I haven't enjoyed a Batman story quite as much since the Endgame series.Brilliant, dark and perilous, Batman pushed to the limit by a fiendish incarnation of himself. Couldn't recommend higher.

Twisted Batman
A story of Batmen from across the multiverse. It's pretty good, a little confusing at times, but overall, I enjoyed it.
