I bought this SABRENT powered USB hub specifically to use with my HTC Vive setup and its USB dongles, and it has been absolutely perfect for what I needed. Setup couldn't really be much easier – connect everything up and it simply works. I've experienced zero issues with the hub or my connected dongles, which is exactly what I wanted from something being used as part of a VR setup. Having four powered USB ports is particularly useful when you've got multiple USB devices that need reliable connections, while the USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps capability also makes the hub useful for more than just my particular setup. The individual switches for the ports are a nice practical feature too, allowing devices to be turned off without constantly unplugging them. For my HTC Vive setup, it has done exactly what I bought it to do with no connection problems and no unnecessary hassle. Sometimes the best PC accessories are the ones you install and then completely forget about because they simply keep working. Zero issues, straightforward to use and perfect for my Vive dongles. 10/10 from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm really impressed with this little hub. I have a lot of USB devices plugged into my PC including a number of large external hard drives. These are now all plugged into this hub, freeing up three of the motherboard USB 3.0 sockets. Data throughput when copying from one of these drives to another gives me a steady 150 MB/s transfer rate which is the same as I got when they were plugged directly into the PC. The hub is very compact and weighs virtually nothing which has allowed me to fix it to the back of my computer case with a single medium Command strip. As well as making things neat and tidy it also reduces the risk of accidentally pushing any of the port on/off buttons. Whilst it looks like the USB plugs are not fully inserted in the photo, it is because the sockets are mounted flush to the hub casing. The connections seem secure. All in all, a really excellent little device.

Really useful, it appears cheap but it does the work, easy to connect and powers everything I want. I like the fact that I can switch off whatever I want and still be able to use it for others. If it comes with 6 or more slots and type C, I'd definitely buy it.

Works well although I've only got usb-2 devices connected so far. I have mine attached to the end of a 5m extension usb-3 cable used to extend the usb-3 ports of a mac pro which is housed in a closet. Then I have a 3m usb cable connected from the hub to a midi keyboard. The hub powers the keyboard and there is no perceptable latency at all while playing which is excellent. Would have been nice to have at least one usb-c port, I had to buy an adapter at extra cost for one of my leads. I chose the cheapest decent hub I could find for my use case. These small hubs are so light that it's impossible to get them to stay flat when cables are connected. I used velcro to attach mine to an unused hard drive which makes it easier to plug and unplug. I put in my first review that it didn't charge phones. It does, I am charging my iphone with it. Appeared not to work first time for some reason. Maybe the port was not switched on.

I use this mainly so I can easily disconnect my webcam, mic and other powered devices. Mounting it on my desk gives me a physical on/off switch for these devices. Plug and play on Linux, absolutely no disconnections or issues.

Would have been 5 stars but a little tricky fitting 3 pin element to housing. No instructions so a bit hit and miss. Otherwise good product and does the job

Todo lo que he comprado de la marca Sabrent me ha dejado holgadamente satisfecha. Desde la presentación del embalaje hasta la calidad de la terminación y componentes, son productos «en serio». Este hub ha resuelto una necesidad de comunicación de dos discos USB sobre un router usado como server, que solo admitía un puerto USB de salida. Intenté conectar dos discos de 5T con un hub común, pero no levantaban por falta de potencia. Este hub potenciado permite montar hasta 4 discos USB en la única entrada USB del router, con asombrosa sencillez. Solo enchufar y habilitar cada puerto con su respectivo botón de carga (cada puerto tiene un interruptor individual, algo estupendo). El router levantó los discos al instante sin ningún problema de conectividad, y los discos fueron identificados por la PC como unidades de red individuales, con excelente velocidad de acceso desde otros dispositivos. Es muy pequeño de tamaño, y no ocupa lugar en una mínima mesa o balda donde está el router. Es cierto que el cable es corto, pero para el uso que yo le doy, que es tenerlo al lado físicamente del router, sobra longitud. Se ve de buena calidad y muy buen desempeño. Estoy muy satisfecha y lo recomiendo para cualquier necesidad de hub USB. Vale cada céntimo del precio.

Ce hub 4 ports USB-A est un vrai produit de qualité : il maintient la vitesse de l'USB 3.2 (5 Gbs) sur les 4 ports, ils sont munis chacun d'un interrupteur et comme le hub a sa propre alimentation (chargeur fourni) il peut fonctionner avec des appareils qui ne sont pas capables de fournir assez d'alimentation pour les périphériques USB, ce qui était mon cas. Aucun Hub USB-A pas cher ne fonctionnait avec mon appareil, celui-ci a fonctionné du premier coup !

Given the price this is a excellent piece of USB-hub. I have it as a hub for a Raspberry PI4 which is running Zwave dongle and it works as planned. I also have other devices connected to it.
