Worth the upgrade!
The Rain Bird ESP-TM2 6 Station Controller is an outstanding upgrade for any irrigation system! Installation was straightforward and took about 30 minutes, with clear instructions, making setup a breeze. It’s WiFi-ready, which means adding innovative features down the road is easy. I also highly recommend adding the wireless rain sensor and the WiFi module, which make a noticeable difference in flexibility and efficiency, allowing for weather-based adjustments and remote control from your phone. This setup is perfect for managing multiple zones and keeps everything running smoothly. Great value, excellent performance. Highly recommend!

Great replacement controller
Great replacement for a very old Toro controller. Less than 30 mins to install. Very intuitive programming. Worked seamlessly with pump start relay. Highly recommended!

Ease of use
This wi-fi ready sprinkler controller is excellent. Note, you MUST buy the separate wifi plug-in module for it to be operated without opening the case. I upgraded from four zone when I added a zone to my sprinkler system and broughtalong thewifi modulefrom my old controller. Never have an issue with connection. Can easily modify the watering program and can easily put one on hold for up to eight days if it turns rainy.

This controller works well and is easy to program.

Works great but Programming is not intuitive.
It was an easy install, but I had to call the manufacturer to ask how to program it. I'm a technician, so it shouldn't have been so difficult. And I was using the instruction manual. Even when explained to me, and I was able to program it, it was difficult.

I own a irrigation company we install this control panel on every system we install, super easy to use and program.has a back lit screen easy to see in dark areas like basement or garage. Also has wifi compatibility, you will need a wifi module from rainbird that plugs into unit, does not come with wifi module, rain bird has a free app no hidden fees to use available on iPhone and Android. And can use when traveling. Wifi module has its own weather app that tells system when to shut down during rain days.
