Product Description Experience Disney Pixar's Toy Story, Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 in an all-new way! Join Woody, Buzz, and all your favorite toys in a whole new dimension as the action and characters jump off the screen and into your living room on Blu-ray 3D with pristine picture and theater-quality sound. .com Toy Story There is greatness in film that can be discussed, dissected, and talked about late into the night. Then there is genius that is right in front of our faces--we smile at the spell it puts us into and are refreshed, and nary a word needs to be spoken. This kind of entertainment is what they used to call "movie magic," and there is loads of it in this irresistible computer animation feature. Just a picture of these bright toys reawaken the kid in us. Filmmaker John Lasseter thinks of himself as a storyteller first and an animator second, much like another film innovator, Walt Disney. Lasseter's story is universal and magical: what do toys do when they're not played with? Cowboy Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Andy's favorite bedroom toy, tries to calm the other toys (some original, some classic) during a wrenching time of year--the birthday party, when newer toys may replace them. Sure enough, Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) is the new toy that takes over the throne. Buzz has a crucial flaw, though--he believes he's the real Buzz Lightyear, not a toy. Lasseter further scores with perfect voice casting, including Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head and Wallace Shawn as a meek dinosaur. The director-animator won a special Oscar for "the development and inspired application of techniques that have made possible the first feature-length computer-animated film." In other words, the movie is great. --Doug Thomas Toy Story 2 John Lasseter and his gang of high-tech creators at Pixar create another entertainment for the ages. Like the few great movie sequels, Toy Story 2 comments on why the first one was so wonderful while finding a fresh angle worthy of a new film. The craze of toy collecting becomes the focus here, as we find out Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) is not only a beloved toy to Andy but also a rare doll from a popular '60s children's show. When a greedy collector takes Woody, Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) launches a rescue mission with Andy's other toys. To say more would be a crime because this is one of the most creative and smile-inducing films since, well, the first Toy Story. Although the toys look the same as in the 1994 feature, Pixar shows how much technology has advanced: the human characters look more human, backgrounds are superior, and two action sequences that book-end the film are dazzling. And it's a hoot for kids and adults. The film is packed with spoofs, easily accessible in-jokes, and inspired voice casting (with newcomer Joan Cusack especially a delight as Cowgirl Jessie). But as the Pixar canon of films illustrates, the filmmakers are storytellers first. Woody's heart-tugging predicament can easily be translated into the eternal debate of living a good life versus living forever. Toy Story 2 also achieved something in the U.S. two other outstanding 1999 animated features (The Iron Giant, Princess Mononoke) could not: it became a huge box-office hit. --Doug Thomas Toy Story 3 What made the original Toy Story so great, besides its significant achievement as the first-ever feature-length computer animated film, was its ability to instantly transport viewers into a magical world where it seemed completely plausible that toys were living, thinking beings who sprang to life the minute they were alone and wanted nothing more than to be loved and played with by their children. Toy Story 3 absolutely succeeds in the very same thing--adults and children alike, whether they've seen the original film or not, find themselves immediately immersed in a world in which Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head (Don Rickles and Estelle Harris), Ham (John Ratzenberger), Rex (Wallace Shawn), the aliens, and the rest of Andy's toys remain completely devoted to Andy (John Morris) even as he's getting ready to pack up and leave for college. Woody scoffs at the other toys' worries that they'll end up in the garbage, assuring them that they've earned a spot of honor in the attic, but when the toys are mistakenly donated to Sunnyside Daycare, Woody is the only toy whose devotion to Andy outweighs the promise of getting played with each and every day. Woody sets off toward home alone while the other toys settle in for some daycare fun, but things don't turn out quite as expected at the daycare thanks to the scheming, strawberry-scented old-timer bear Lots-o'-Huggin' (Ned Beatty). Eventually, Woody rejoins his friends and they all attempt a daring escape from the daycare, which could destroy them all. The pacing of the film is impeccable at this point, although the sense of peril may prove almost too intense for a few young viewers. Pixar's 3-D computer animation is top-notch as always and the voice talent in this film is tremendous, but in the end, it's Pixar's uncanny ability to combine drama, action, and humor in a way that irresistibly draws viewers into the world of the film that makes Toy Story 3 such great family entertainment. Son loves toy story!
Bought this for my Toy Story obsessed son. He loves this box set. I just wish it would also come with the digital code to watch where we don't have a DVD player but it's still great!

Hesitant at first but so glad I purchased!
I have to write this review, because I was so worried from all the other reviews that these Bluray discs were not going to work in my Bluray player... I actually put the set in my basket and purchased and then continued to read reviews and ended up canceling the order.I looked for the movies from other retailers and you can’t even get one movie for the price that this seller at Amazon is selling for all three... So I contemplated how much I had to lose—under $25–and put the movies back in my basket and purchased. I am so glad that I did!The movies arrived quickly with Prime and in good condition. They looked like all my other Disney Bluray movies. I immediately opened them up and started to play them in my LG Bluray player that I purchased at Walmart a few years ago. The first one played just fine. I skipped through every chapter, and no problems! The second and third discs were perfect as well. Sound was good, picture was good and all the original actors were voicing the characters in English (I had read some reviews that the original actors weren’t voicing the characters...)And... not only did they play in my LG Bluray player, I tried them out in my car rear entertainment center Bluray player and they worked perfectly in there as well! So, if they are “fakes”, I can not tell. I will be able to let the granddaughters catch up on 1, 2 and 3 just in time for Toy Story 4 to come out in June! Very pleased, and glad I made the purchase!!

The ASIN B010FURLH4 UK Release is All Region - Works in my Region A Player Perfectly
I've seen several reviews complaining about a UK release of all three Toy Story movies won't play in North America. The UK (i.e. Great Britain) is in Blu-ray Region B. North America is in Blu-ray Region A. ASIN B010FURLH4 is Region Free.https://www.amazon.com/s?k=B01FURLH40It will play in any Blu-ray Region: A, B or C. I've tested it in an All-Region player that can be set for any region and the discs are all marked for all three regions. I've also seen complaints some of the discs won't play, or stop and lock up when playing the movies. All three of mine played just fine and I've got a Blu-ray scanning utility that checks disc integrity. All three passed without any track or sector errors.I will skip reviewing the movies themselves as they are so well known at this point and there are zillions of reviews on them elsewhere (use Google). As I would expect with modern animations, the transfers are impeccable with exceptional audio. This UK release is currently (as of writing this) the perfect "budget" alternative to the US release which is nearly three times as expensive (and IMHO overpriced).

This is a good deal!
To begin this review off, I want to refer to all the other posts that are bashing amazon for "false advertising."In the product details section, it says you will only receive 3 discs in this set. Each disc is a Bluray/Bluray 3d which means that you get two discs in one basically. If you read all of the fine print I'm surprised you skipped over that. You would've realized you were only receiving three discs - one for each movie.Aside from that, I purchased the other three movies in blu ray combos very cheap on the internet. About ten dollars for each to be precise. Each of the Bluray 3D combos are overpriced at a whopping $40! $120 for all three movies?! That's insane! If you want to get the 3D Experience and still have other discs to pop into other players, I recommend buying this and then some of the cheap, original blu ray combos on eBay that are little to nothing. You'll save yourself a lot of money. In total I spent around $90 for all three movie sets including this wonderful 3D bundle amazon has.$90 is better than $120 dollars. For anybody who thinks they would've gotten a better deal just buying all three combo packs at $40 dollars a pop... you're crazy!Save yourself some money and buy this!As a side note: I will tell you that the 3d video quality for all three movies is superb and the audio is great as well. I've now seen the first and second Toy Story's like never before.

Perfectly clean and fully playable in my Blu-ray player
I have to say, for how cheap I was able to get this for the fact that only the DVDs had minor scuffs that easily cleaned off was rather shocking but certainly still worth what I paid for the set, I would absolutely buy from this seller again if everything else they have is this well kept
