Q: Will this fit a Taurus 24/7 pro 45

It WILL fit the Taurus G3c just fine as they are machined for Glock sights. However, it will not fit any of the other Taurus models.

Q: Loctite is suggested, does anyone think it’s actually needed?

I put some Loctite on as I do on all gun screws. I don’t know if it’s needed, but I have never had a screw come loose. It is a cheap and effortless insurance.

Q: Is this compatible with holosun hs407c?

I do know about your sight. But, I can tell you that the screws that holds down the plate to the slide is short. BEWARE! I have an Glock 21, Gen 3, .45 cal. Double check with an armorer.

Perfect fit

This is mounted on my Glock 30s. The fit and finish is amazing. Comes with the correct screws with a dot of blue LocTite on them. I used just a little more. Super easy to install. So much better then having your slide cut.

Stopgap idea, bad quality.

Comes lose after firing and uses cheap “metal” parts. Stopgap measure gone wrong. Either mill the slide or stick with iron sights…period.

Fit PD380 with modification

Fit onto PD380. The small block for the rear sight must be filed down on both sides to slide in, past the paint/coat down to the base alluminum material. Sand paper on flat surface was enough to do the job. Mated with ADE red-dot unit. Perfect fit. Time will tell how reliable it will stay on...
