What are the holes on the tips used for?

Some people will put a small metal wire through them and tie the 4 corners together which makes it a little more of a one piece set up. Me personally, I've never felt the need to do that since the Pot Support is plenty stable the way it is.

Are there different sizes for the Base Camp and Trekker or is this one size fits all?

For the pot support, it is one size fits all.
