VERY POTENT! I would start with 1/8th tsp, trust me. It is strong. My husband and I eat many, MANY probiotic-rich foods (natto, kimchi, kombucha, coconut cult/kefir, etc.), and we still needed to cut the recommended dose down to an 1/8th of a tsp. Without being brash, I would recommend being by a bathroom, just in case. The powder is practically flavorless, and I love that it doesn’t have any weird fillers. We store ours in the fridge. My only issue was that it is a refrigerated product, but it didn’t come in a cold bag. The other minor complaint I have is the directions tell you to take on an empty stomach or in between meals. I disagree. Take with meals or shortly after, so the probiotics can feed on the prebiotic foods you ate AND have a fighting chance to survive in your gut. I also plan on using it as a starter for homemade soy and coconut yogurt. :) Look no further! I love this brand, and this probiotic powder is no different. Very good for your gut! Gut health= butt health.

NOW Supplements Probiotic-10™ Powder has worked exactly as expected. It’s a very good quality probiotic with a strong 50 billion CFU blend and multiple strains. I recommend starting low and slow to allow your body to adjust, especially if you’re new to probiotics. The powder form is convenient and easy to mix. Overall, I’m very happy with this product and would definitely purchase it again.

Great price for a great quality product!

No complaints at all about the performance of these probiotics. It has 10 strains with a total of 25 billion CFU. The blend of strains has been working very well with keeping things moving along without causing any distress, gas or bloating. The recommended dosage is quite high -- they suggest 3 capsules 1-2 times per day. I'm finding just one capsule provides the benefits I need, making this a very good value when it comes to cost per dose. The capsules themselves are rather large. They are not terribly difficult to swallow due to the shape, but they are larger than the typical probiotic capsules I've used in the past. The manufacturer recommends keeping them in the refrigerator once the bottle has been opened to maintain potency. Other than the size, no complaints. They work very well without any side effects and are quite reasonable in cost. I've used several other NOW brand products and have always been pleased with the quality.

Hmm.. I don't know what to think about this yet. I've been using it for about a month now, on a daily basis. I really haven't noticed any difference since I started adding this to my regimen, though I take the recommended 1/2 tsp. I travel for work and thought adding a probiotic would help with what I call "traveler's tummy", with all the flights, eating out, sleeping in new places, etc. I saw that this brand doesn't actually need to be kept refrigerated (though it says so on the bottle), which for my lifestyle would be impossible. I did check to make sure the cultures are active by putting some in a small glass of milk and letting it sit out. I've done a bit of reading up on probiotics, and testing to make sure the cultures are active doesn't always mean you'll get a curdling affect, so with the contents of this particular powder, you wouldn't necessarily get the curdling due to the strains present. This powder did not produce said affect, but did smell just terrible after about 12 hours in the milk, which seemed to me like it was doing its thing. I'm not sure I'll buy this brand again since I'm not noticing any results. I might try the same mixture/ concentration from another brand to see if there's a difference.
