Bescor MP-1E Motorized Pan Head with Power Supply and Remote Extension Cable

I have several gadgets in studio to do pans but thought I would try this out. Pros: Fluid pan, almost 360 degree capability, diagonal pan available, has remote cord, good build, hefty Cons: Heavy, a little jerk at beginning and end but can be taken out in editing, Remote cord could have been a little longer. I really like this.. Good to add to studio. I put it on tripod during a video shoot of an office.. I ducked and it did a full panoramic of office that came out incredible and smooth. This item is great for the value. The only downside is the power cord, if it's not snug and wiggles loose it doesn't work. I just wish it snapped into place locking it. The cord has wiggled loose a few times while filming.

Works great. Pan and tilt is usable and accurate even at very high zoom on our camera.

Item was defective. Did not pan evenly. Returned for refund.

3 stars for good concept. I bought this pan head before and I had to return it twice because the speed is inconsistent and the speed control didn't work on both occasions. I would stay away from this item if I were you.

Very study, and reliable...used for church livestreaming.
