It's just string - A-Plus string though. Thicker than kite string, which is exactly what I need. I tie up my melons on trellis. Regular kite string just doesn't make the grade. This string is great.

G2 PLUS string, Cotton Baker Trine, 328 Feet 2MM Natural White Cotton for Crafts, Gift Wrapping Twine, Home Decor, Gift Packaging for $5. Thickness is 2MM or .039 inches. It’s strong enough for any of the above uses. I used to tie bamboo trelliss. See picture. I used cotton because nylon wouldn’t glue to bamboo very easily even though I used superglue.
