However, the movie does seem to provide good, sometimes realistic lessons about family and friendship. Highly recommended. Great family movie for Middle School age

My Middle School son and younger daughter really enjoyed the first movie in this series. My son has read all the books and we really enjoyed the second movie at the theatre so we pre-ordered this blu-ray and just received it today. We're all very excited to watch it as a family tonight. Very funny

When I first got I was so excited to see what they did in the 2nd one. I would recommend reading the book first then seeing the movie so you can see how many things they left out that would have been good. I watch it over and over and never get tired of it. Very good movie for all ages!

I love these movies, and this one doesn't disappoint. If you enjoy a good laugh, and don't already own the series or this DVD, buy it. None will disappoint.

Wimpy Kid Part 2

One of my favorite movies growing up. I realize there is a new version of this film, one that has Blu-Ray + Digital and no DVD copy, but I wanted to make sure I got a DVD. Even if the digital copy doesn’t work anymore. Let me say I don’t blame the seller for this, but a piece of the Blu-Ray case is chipped off at the bottom. It must’ve been because of the handling. But it’s no big bother. The movie has a menu that shows the scenes from the film, mixed with Jeff Kinney’s cartoons mixed in with it. The digital copy is a disc. Because all studious uses discs to get digital copies back in the late 2000s and early 2010s. However, because Disney acquired 20th Century Fox. This movie can not be converted with Vudu Disc-to-Digital. You know, because Disney is money hungry. But, since I want it available to play anywhere, I may just buy a digital version sooner or later. You win Disney. Plays perfect on my PS4, no problems. Also, that dirty part on the barcode was not from the seller. That was me trying to rip off the extra UPC barcode.

Most fav DVD EVER, most watched Rodrick Rules goes to the head of the list.

Grandson cannot quit playing Rodrick Rules, about Wimpy Kid's older brother. He devises stories and tells them at the dinner table and in the car bout his non-existent "older brother". My little grandson is becoming an outstanding story-teller, with his own little twists and solutions. What a kick!
