Dolphin mechanical guages with electrical guages. Please explain. Are they mech or elect?

speedometer is cable driven(mechanical) but the small gauges are electric

Will these work in 1985 Corvette?

Yes they will as long as your dash is not controlled by your computer if it has one. I did an 1987 corvette and had no problem. I also use these in my 69 Chevy truck.
