A great, useful product!
This is an outstanding product. I bought my first one and within a day I had purchased two additional units. While it is billed as an expandable unit, I chose to use mine as two separate units. One I use in a kitchen cabinet; it fits perfectly allowing me to shelve twice the number of glassware and mugs. My tall glasses (a combination of the tall IKEA glasses and Crate and Barrel glasses) below assorted mugs. The other part of the unit I have on the counter. On the top I have whisks, spatulas, etc., in IKEA grey, metal containers and below the shelf I have more glassware. I have not decided exactly how I am going to use the two extra units, but I am know that they will double my storage, so important as I have a very small kitchen and many, many kitchen items to store, as I love to cook! The units themselves are beautifully crafted and very sturdy. As I said, I have full containers of kitchen cooking utensils, and there isn't a hint of bowing. The same goes for the glassware. The shelves are sleek, and I think they would be equally 'comfortable' in a number of different styles of kitchens, bathrooms and other rooms in the house. I am thinking of using one of my sets in my studio to hold different markers, etc., with sketch pads, coloring books underneath. In summary, this is a really nice product, well work the $14.72. Additionally, it is very well packed, arriving in perfect condition with extra plastic feet for the product. I really can't say enough good things about them! I guess buying three of them says it all!

Perfect for my needs.
Actually 4.5 stars, but more of that later. First of all, this is well made, very sturdy, and I really appreciate that it has perforated metal sheet for the top instead of flimsy wire. My glassware sits on it perfectly without shifting or wobbling. I would trust these shelves to hold my finest china and stemware. I'm sure this will last a lifetime. I also like the silver color. It's not chromed, but painted; and that's fine with me. It is made in China, but I'm OK with that as well, when the quality is this good and the price is right. The shelves are not huge. Wish they had a slightly larger size, but I have room for 12 glasses on the top of the larger one and 8 on the smaller. And of course, that same amount below each shelf. I am using in a larger than normal cabinet, though. The half star deduction is for the two missing rubber feet. Others have mentioned this and while it's not a huge problem, I feel that it's a quality control issue that needs to be addressed. The shelves were well packaged and further wrapped in plastic to protect the legs and finish. They were shipped in a plastic pillow packed box. The feet were obviously lost somewhere in the packing process. Which one is hard to say. Either at the manufacturer or the shipper. I scoured the box and carefully examined the plastic wrap for the feet, but they just weren't there. They probably should be packaged in a small bag separately and taped to the cardboard label. Other than that, I'm going to reorder a couple more for another cabinet.

Nice, Sturdy, and Good Value
These shelves are pretty good. I bought them to go into a small cabinet and they fit perfectly, the listed dimensions are spot on. They're really sturdy and even came with extra plastic feet covers which was a nice touch. I've bought other shelves like this in the past and they're usually pretty flimsy, so how solid these felt was a nice surprise. It was also nice that these are two proper shelves. Often you'll find sets with one "real" shelf and the other has legs on only one side and hooks onto the other shelf so you can't use them separately. The tiny air holes instead of just being wire racks is nice too. Lets be honest. those wire rack type shelves just never work out, things slide thought the gaps and it's beyond annoying. That won't happen with these. They are a rather dark grey though. Sort of look like a non stick baking pan in color. So if you have light cabinets you might not like the look. They're also very close in size. Which is great in that you're not dealing with one good sized shelf and one that's just too small (which is often the case with these shelves). But you have to place the top one just so, and I worry about the day I accidentally knock it over. There's really nothing keeping it in place, no grooved spots for it to sit so it stays put. It could just slide right off if you knock it hard enough.

Sturdy, good-looking, well made. Recommend!
These are great. I worried they might be flimsy or unstable, as these cheap-ish metal things tend to be, but they are rock solid, & the little rubber sleeves attached to the metal feet prevent skidding. (They provide extra sleeves for each set of shelves, but they are clear & packed in clear plastic so I accidentally threw one away.) They also arrived outrageously well-packed. The nearly solid perforated tops provide a stable surface for anything. (The tops are a little slippery, which makes it easy to pull stuff off of them, slide things to the back, etc., so mostly a good feature. For the same reason, it would easy to knock something off the top if they were placed on the countertop rather than inside a cabinet.) These instantly created extra room in my cabinets, and the cabinets look better than before, because they are better organized. The tall shelf was tall enough to fit my big tumbler glasses underneath with small ones on top, though not quite high enough for one of those cylindrical containers of sea salt -- not the Morton kind, the taller ones.)

GREAT QUALITY FOR A LOW PRICE! LOVE THESE SHELVES!
I love these shelves!!! This is my fourth set, and what a difference they've made in giving me space and organization in my 1950 era house! I love how sturdy the shelves are, and also that the tops of them are flat. Usually, these types of shelves are constructed with gaps on top, so that small items keep falling down. The flat surface is a big plus, as is the heavy duty metal construction - no wobbling! I used them in my hall closet for storing shampoos/shower gels/toiletries/medicines. I used them in my pantry to stack cans of cat food, and in the kitchen to organize dishes. I am buying my fourth set to use in my home office. These shelves have innumerable uses, and I can't recommend them highly enough! A small note, I really appreciate that they include an extra set of feet for the shelves, just in case you lose any. That's a nice touch!

A great shelf set that fit my needs!
I considered many shelves for getting a bit more organized; and I liked the size of these. I purchased these initially for usage in our pantry, yet once I started to pull things together, they just didn't work out for what I was hoping they would. I then designated them for return, sad that they didn't work out. Once I moved on to organize the linen closet, thankfully I still had these waiting to be dropped off for return back to Amazon. As I began pulling everything together in the hall closet, I realized that I needed something to elevate some items - and then was thankful I still had these! I unboxed them, and figured out how to make them work. Thus far, I absolutely love them! I combined them with shoe boxes from the Container Store (a less expensive storage option) and then slid those underneath the shelves to make the most of the space. I like that these two shelves are slightly different in size, so you can fit taller bottles on the shorter shelves; giving you organizational options. I couldn't say that these hold a LOT of weight; yet for what I am needing them for, they are absolutely perfect. I might find another place in the home to use these in the future - yet once I get to that point I might just remove one of these temporarily before actually buying another set to make sure they would work. So far, I am very pleased with this item and highly recommend!

JUST WHAT I NEEDED!
These arrived today, and I absolutely love them. It's true, they are NOT stackable one on top of the other. So if that's what you want them for, look elsewhere. I think the manufacturer means that you can stack ITEMS on on top of the other, as clearly shown in the picture. They are EXPANDABLE in the sense that if you no longer need the smaller one, you can slide it back under the taller one. But I bought them precisely because I needed two shelves. I needed them to stack my kitchen pans and bakeware. I carefully measured my pans, both HEIGHT and DIAMETER, and made sure they would fit UNDER and ON the shelves. It worked just right. The shelves are very sturdy, and I like the flat smooth surface, easy to clean. They came with all eight legs encased in small clear rubber feet, plus two spares inside a small bag. The bag was easy to spot. I stored it in the drawer closest to the cupboard where the shelves are. That way I will know where to find them. Frankly, I don't see myself replacing the rubber feet anytime soon, they look just as sturdy as the legs. But of course plastic can get brittle over the course of time. I've attached two photos to show how the pans are stacked. I put the most used ones on the right, and the less used ones on the left, which is farther to reach. If you use the shelves in a similar manner, make sure you leave enough room for the drawer on top of the cupboard to slide effortlessly in and out. The wax paper between two pans which are one inside the other is there to protect the bottom pan from getting scratched. Finally, these shelves look pretty enough to be used outside a cupboard!

Bait & Switch - not the same product that earned good reviews
I’m leaving this as a 3 star review, only in case you miss the 1 star reviews. I also had an old set of these shelves which were actually good quality, the news one suck - as pointed out in the 1 star photos. Trust them. They changed the product and are trying to ride on the good reviews of the past, but the new shelf sucks. It’s flimsy and wobbles and the screw holes aren’t well aligned because factory tolerances are bad. Do not support this kind of behavior. If that weren’t enough, the shelves also cost more than they used to - worse quality, higher price.
