Urbanity Fair: An Abbreviated Guide to Modern Manners

I am so glad that I bought this book! It was a quick read and I learned that it is so important in today's world to update our manners - especially with social media, cell phones, writing thank you notes, keeping your knees together (ladies!), and lots more. I am passing this around to my daughter, son, and neighbors (not that they are rude or anything...) I know Julie Ann personally and she is a beautiful, true lady with a "heart of gold" who "walks the walk" - literally! We can all learn from her years of experience in teaching etiquette to debutants, the Rose Bowl Court, and even girl scouts. Thanks for sharing your guide to modern manners, I am now going to spit out my gum and NEVER put my cell phone or purse on the dinner table!

Great book! We read and discuss it with our 10 and 11-year-old children during dinner. Highly recommend this book to families with children of any age.

Easy read. Attended a lovely workshop hosted by the author at the Orange County Girl Scout HeadQuarters. It was delight to see all the middle school aged girls engage and embrace the suggestions poised within the book.
