Good choice
Heavy, well made quarter turn valves. Easy install. Great value.

Great product!
These things are amazing. Wish I knew they existed sooner. Made installing new water valves under the sinks very easy. Just need to clue them in like normal pvc/cpvc.

Works fine.
I used an extracting took to completely remove my old cut off valves and the brass ring knob thing. These valves came with a new brass fitting ring/knob. It has a name, but I can't remember what it is. Anyhow, when you install, the Teflon tape goes around that brass ring. You can put it on the threads too, but it needs to be around that brass knob/ring or it will leak eventually.

Looks great but not installed yet.
These won't be installed for months yet but they look great and are heavy duty as the seller describes.

Far superior to the original in our tract home
Our home is around 35 years old now, and the original shutoff valves to our toilets and sinks are all these knurled knob, plastic shaft, and rubber washer cheap shutoff valves. As we have plumbing issues with faucets and toilets and we need to shut off the water supply, inevitably none of these original valves are fully shutting off the water. They leak. I bought a 5-pack of these valves during the pandemic when I had to change a kitchen faucet. They are all metal, sturdy, and only require 1/4 turn to easily shut the supply on/off. I'm pretty handy and these were easy to install. You can either use the original lock nut and ferrule, or put a new one on. You might need a puller to get an old ferrule off if you go that route. These new valves are well worth it. I've now installed 4 of the 5 in the package and they're all working perfectly. And I'm about to use up the fifth one, so I'm reordering a new package so that I always have a spare set of shutoff valves for when I need to replace another old one. Highly recommended.

The best water shut off valve you can buy!
This set arrived today to replace water shut off valves that had been on since 1984! I did purchase a great tool that easily removed the old compression ring to make the installation simple and would highly recommend you do the same. OK...well, these replacements were SO MUCH BETTER than what I took off. Buttery smooth operation, quite heavy for their size and a perfect fit. I will plan on exercizing each one on a monthly basis so they do not become "Frozen" from lack of use! I also have a neat tip.....before you install them probably under a cabinet or behind a toilet, put a few drops of BLASTER inside the top of the valve where the water suppy would normally attach. Open and close the valve several times to distribute the drops and then tighten the water supply fitting to the valve. This will help immensely and prevent any rust or corrosion from building up inside the valve. Most of these remain either OPEN all the time or CLOSED and lack of activity is what allows for the valve to stick either closed or open! All in all, a very well designed product. Maybe the best out there.
