Absolutely perfect
If you’re like me, you’ve read ALL the reviews on similar items and trying to justify buying the more expensive version. I bought these with skepticism thinking it seemed like too good a deal, but they actually are.Perfect product for this application. I used a 4:5” hole saw to cut opening in soffit. This gave just enough clearance to fit hose and clamp through already mounted to vent. I also cut a small piece of ss screen and mounted inside opening for bug protection. Product exceeded expectations and worked perfect for my intended application. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

best option I could find, great price
I installed 3 of these. I like that this has a flap that prevents back flow. I also really like that I could put these right at the edge of my soffit, so the warm vent exhaust blows away from the house and rises into the open air, rather than back up the soffit vents. The only other option I could find out there with these features costs about $130. My main complaint is that on very could nights, the flap freezes shut because of some condensation build up. But usually after running the fan for about 10 minutes, the ice melts and the flap opens.

Functions as advertised
Worked as advertised. The flange was not as rigid as I wanted, causing some flex when mounting to metal soffit, it was easily adjusted tho. Looks good and works well.

Great soffit vents
Work perfectly for soffit venting of bathroom exhaust fans

1/2 the price of what’s available at the big name big box stores.
Used for bathroom exhaust vents under soffits on the 2nd story of the house. Used a 4” hole saw for the first vent and a 4 1/8” on the 2nd vent which was much easier to get in place. Also used doubled sided tape to set fiberglass window screening mesh over the tube before connecting the exhaust tubing. I have had issues in the past with wasps getting into the house through exhaust vents. Adding screening prevents that issue from reoccurring.Screws are not included. Recommend 3/4” - 1” aluminum gutter screws.

Little flimsy but the only ones I could find that fit my purpose. They do work.
I had found out on my roof replacement that my dryer was vent straigt up in to a 6" roof vent and it was full aka packed of years of other peoples lint. Well this was not going to continue so I found under louver vent for dryers. They are a little flimsy so I bought the two pack figuring I would break one. I did not. It was easy to install just cut the hole and feed your hose thru conect and push back in and screw to secure.

Nice product
I used this for a 70cfm bathroom vent fan. Good flow. The flap doesn't create much restriction. It's been going for about a year now without sticking or clogging.

What I need for bathroom eve exhaust
Needed something to exhaust bathroom fan instead of going into attic. Found exhaust pipe in attic, rerouted to eve, cut 4” opening in soffit, attached hose to this vent and screwed in. Glad it has a flap down to keep bugs and cold out
