In the tree in a budget!
In the tree on a budget! I am finally in my stand as of today and must say for a last minute "I new to bow hunt this season" I did it and on a after Christmas budget thanks to this stand. Stand is sturdy, much more robust than I expected. Instead of the provided straps I did use 2 500lb ratchet straps and am very confident this won't leave the tree at all. I will say for someone who's used to using higher end stands this stand is a bit small as far as platform and seat (would recommend using the included harness or a better one) but this was very appreciated when I found "the sanctuary" (best hunting spot I've ever hunted) and after adding some 550 cord to back pack it in a whole mile plus I'm thankful it's small and light for that. Stand is solid and sturdy. Some parts seems cheap such as washers I expect to have to replace. Has a good seat cushion, and the flip up of the seat is a huge plus. Overall great and for the price can't best it! 4 stars due to some cheap hardware.

Its a good treestand. I gave it 3 stars for the fact that I had to purchase ratchet tie down strap to make it a little more secure to the tree. Once you add two ratchet straps you can really suck it down to the tree so there is no movement or play. Makes the tree stand a lot more stable. Besides that I like the treetand. I wish the platform was a little bit bigger but its great besides that.Update: I am on the second season using this stand. I have one broken wire in the grate on the stand. I think it really needs another square tubing down the middle of the stand. I get some creaking noises from the back of the stand and have to make sure I don't step in the midlde of the stand when animals are around. I wish the seat was more comfortable, it tends to just push through the metal bars the padding is on. It needs a little piece of plywood under the cusion. I was really impressed it came with a harness, although I do not use it. For the money this is a great deal and does the job.

This stand seems great once put together
This stand seems great once put together, but I bought it close to the end of deer season so haven't had a chance to use it yet. The instructions on how to put it together are not as detailed as I would like. As for the tree straps, I don't feel comfortable using just those, they seem like they may fail so I would invest in ratchet straps. The harness that comes with it feels a little cheap so I'm going to invest in another one, the elastic straps on it just worry me a little bit. The cables that connect the footrest to the H bar worry me a bit too, one is snug when the stand is unfolded and the other one is not as tight.

This tree stand is a great value. The seat is small but if you are an average sized guy you can be comfortable for a couple hour hunt. Straps leave a little to be desired, but an extra ratchet strap will bind this to the tree just fine. For a guy who wants to have several stands out this is good one for your arsenal.

When I set this up I used my own ratchet straps because I think its a safer bet. The biggest drawback is when tightening my ratchet strap to the bottom metal loop the stand floor will come up and fold up when I try to tighten it securely to the Tree. I won't be getting this stand again.

Still sucks that I received a stand with rust already present
Arrived with surface rust and was labelled the Big Dog Tomcat Treestand. The sticker on the box says the Tomcat is an inch wider than the Beagle II but I can't find any online mention of a Tomcat stand.I plan on using this tree stand for a public ground set, so if it walks away I won't be heartbroken. Still sucks that I received a stand with rust already present. I'll be hitting it with some rustoleum to alleviate any potential issues.

Safety first!!!
Double check everything. The treestand itself is good but the suspension cables were frayed I ended up making my own and the seat is cheap going to replace it and used my own ratchet straps.

Good stand for the price.
For the price it is a good stand. I added an extra coat of rust oleum spray paint and my own ratchet straps.
