Perfect for Gen 2 Alexa Dot. I needed a very short cord for my white & pink Dot but that version uses a 12 volt style power source. This cord safely powers my device with no issues. Whew!

Small, compact eliminating another transformer plugged into my outlet. I have installed receptacles theat also have USB ports to deal with clutter.

The cable powers Echo fine, but I don't understand why there is a red light coming from inside the box on the cable. I have two of these and the first had no such light.

I put our echo dot on the outlet shelf I bought previously and the original code was just too long. This works great with the dot on the shelf. I'd highly recommend it.

Is it short? Yes. Will or power on a new echo dot 3rd gen? Yes. Can you do anything with it other than ask for the time? No. Try to play music or ask a question that requires a long answer and it reboots. Tried 4 different USB plugs. All 3.1A at 15w or higher. I even ordered some new USB wall chargers that were 40W and that still wasn't enough. Avoid these. They don't work.

I’m sure it’s perfectly good for some Echo devices but it is NOT compatible with my Echo Show and it’s now being returned

For those wondering if this works with the USB's the wall plug adapter holder, Yes it does work. Will bump up the rating after a few months. Just got it so I don't know if it'll work for long or not. Other than that it's pretty good!

Questo dispositivo serve ad alimentare, partendo da una comune presa USB DC 5V, Amazon Alexa (Echo Spot o Echo Dot) che richiede una tensione di alimentazione pari a DC12V. Il problema che ho constato è il seguente: se ad Alexa chiediamo previsioni meteo o comunque poniamo domande da cui aspettarsi brevi risposte abbiamo un funzionamento regolare, ma se ad Alexa chiediamo di riprodurre musica, dopo un paio di minuti anche a volume basso la riproduzione dei brani si interrompe. La causa va quasi sicuramente attribuita alla scarsa corrente erogata dal dispositivo in esame e considerando il prezzo non proprio modesto d’acquisto, la delusione è inevitabile.

Da hab ich genau das Richtige gekauft. Eine Powerbank mit 5 Volt, versorgt nun eine 12 Volt Zubehörleuchte fürs Camping. Funktioniert wunderbar.

I’ll give it 5 stars as I assume it works but sadly I was searching for echo 4 and this was top of the list. Does not fit the echo 4
