I find it very helpful to have this book always with me rather than having to go through the Sybae manuals. This is very helpful for me

Not a good book at all. I expected a book like some of the other manuals out there for SQL and Oracle but this was not the case. Sybase needs to start offering the ability to get additional information to support their environment. I can get better manuals about MySQL, Postgres and many other database platforms but Sybase never puts out a book of their own.

Very helpful and informative, this book provides basic to intermediate information for those that want to get acquainted with ASE. If you are new to sybase administration, this is a must have item. The book is very didactic, intuitive, well divided and easy to follow.

Print and paper really cheap - in a bad way. Print is coming off some pages, paper has a less than acceptable quality.
