Finally, a comprehensive evaluation of the ketogenic diet as it applies to women! This book is pure practicality-no surplus pages of glowing testimonials by clients or lengthy historical narrative about how the author’s career took a winding road to develop the presentation contained therein. The text goes straight into the material. I absolutely love that about this book! I also appreciate that there’s no plug for exclusive products only available at a website. It goes in depth as to why the keto diet works in a way that is conversational and accessible. It then explains the numerous variations of it according to the different needs of women; life stage, where you are in your menstrual cycle (your diet must change along with its phases!), activity level, other specifics such as thyroid issues. You will learn how to set up your diet according to YOUR needs. Get ready to do some serious organizing. You will be required to know your body better. Thankfully, there’s a reference to an online calculator that actually does the heavy lifting of setting up your macronutrient targets. If you seek a cookie cutter meal plan that you can just mindlessly follow, this book is not for you. It is for women who seriously want to take an informed approach to their diet. As others have said, there’s no handholding in regards to your groceries. No recipes or glossy food pictures. I already have a lot of cookbooks that handle that for me. You likely do, too. In light of the variety in how to arrange a keto meal plan, omitting recipes actually makes sense. This book is so unpretentiously informative that it’s absence doesn’t bother me. An excellent reference book that ignores the assumptions and dogma surrounding keto.

I *really* wanted to love this book
I've been anticipating a keto book specifically written for women, so I *really* wanted to love this book. However, I feel it falls short because it lacks one main category: RECIPES. Yes, this book addresses how women are different in their needs with relation to hormones and the ketogenic diet, yet it never mentions specific recipes to help us start the journey. There is a wealth of knowledge in this book with a few diagrams and charts that are helpful, but it falls short of being a complete book devoted to women and their keto experience. Plus the book is poorly designed with a lack of colorful images and skewed margins that cut off some of the quotation marks in the headers of the pages. I guess my search for the perfect keto book for women will continue...

The most USEFUL and well written KETO Guide Book out there!
Even though this book states it's a "Woman's Guide" for Keto Diet enthusiasts, it's chock full of great information concerning not only what Keto dieting entails, the author has written this in such a way as to explain how it affects your overall physical and mental health for both men and women. It's a great read - highly recommend!!!

The Keto guide I’ve been searching for!
I’ve been following Tasha’s website Ketogasm for the past several years so you know I was over the moon when she announced this book! I got it today and haven’t been able to put it down. I love that it’s written by a woman for women! The Keto lifestyle is not one-size-fits-all and this book outlines just how anyone from a newbie to a novice can make their Keto journey successful. I’ve already dog eared several pages and can’t wait to read the rest. For any ladies out there who have ever been interested in Keto, RUN - don’t walk to pick up this guide!

Fact-packed book yet easy to read and understand
I’m only about a 1/3 of the way through, but I have to give this book a 5 star review now. I’ve stumbled around and tried Keto before with some success, but this book explains EVERYTHING and backs it all up with the research the author used. It’s also easy to read and you feel like the author is your cheerleader. This is going on my shelf along with The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living as my expert guides.

Great information
This is a great book! I have done my research on the Keto diet for many months & it is almost all geared towards men. This book was a wealth of knowledge on the differences women face with hormones & overall metabolic make-up. If you aren't looking for pretty pictures - but real information on the Keto diet. This is the book to get!

Finally, a book on the keto diet for women
Tasha does a great job of presenting the keto diet in a thorough and myth-dispelling way. This book is worth a read whether you're new to keto or have been following the diet for a long time. Tasha has clearly done her research and helps guide women through how the keto can help with their needs. She also helps them tailor the diet to their unique body.

This book explains how to personalize Keto
This book was everything I’ve been looking and more! I never fully understood the Keto Diet until reading Tasha’s book. It’s not eating bacon and deep frying in butter, it’s finding what works for your body. Macros can be so confusing, but Tasha breaks it down without all of the nutritional jargon. It was easy to understand and all of the FREE resources she provided where beyond helpful. I finally know how to make Keto work for ME. Thank you, so much, Tasha Metcalf for making a book that everyone can enjoy!

Must read for anyone considering the Keto Diet
Extremely well written and informative. I especially was impressed with the links providedto calculate daily calorie consumption and macro’s. I have tried the keto diet before buthave a much better understanding of the process after reading Tasha’s book.

Amé el libro. No se si es porque me encanta todo lo relacionado a la dieta Keto y no soy tan newbie pero las cosas estan explicadas de una manera bruta y super clara! Aunque esta muy enfocado en mujeres, tambien sirve para los hombres y entender los basics de la dieta.Lo leí en un día, aunque la letra es chiquita, no puedes dejar de leerlo. Recomendado al 100%.
