The item is very big but once you get the grip it works great!

My hair is 25 inches long and has a natural relaxed wave but I wanted something a little more noticeable so I purchased the Revlon Perfect Heat Jumbo 3 Barrel Waver. The first thing I noticed when using this product, was that my hair became more noticeably shiny and softer. The Waver heats up very quickly and works like it's supposed to. When it was heated up and , ready to use I only needed to crimp my hair for about 5 to 7 seconds and release and the wave definition was very nice. The Waver is easy to use and cools down rather quickly when done using it. The waves in my hair lasted for hours until I washed my hair. My hair did not feel brittle or crunchy I gave this product 4 out of 5 stars because of the following: I did not care for the handle that you use to clamp and release the hair with. It feels kinda cheap and its not easy to grip onto if you have your hand in a weird position. I also didn’t like that the product doesn’t have a resting kick stand like normal curling irons have, so that when setting the product down on a surface, it doesn’t burn the surface or fall off onto the floor. I also didn’t care for the way it leaves a sharp looking crimp line in your hair the first time u use it near the top of your head. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or coworker It is a very easy product to use and is a great value for the price you pay.

I had done a lot of research for a waver and kept coming back to this one. What made me order it was that it was a "jumbo" waver that promised to give larger waves and the fact that it was ceramic not metal like many of the others out there. The price was surprisingly low so I was skeptical but figured I'd try it out. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It really does make very large waves and they come out beautiful. They even last until the next day if you spray it. It heats up fast and gets very hot. I will say that it is very cumbersome and heavy and if you have long or thick hair, it may be hard to do your own hair. Takes some practice. My hair is thinner and past my shoulders and it takes me about 10 minutes if I'm doing it for a quick change up from my normal straight style. I could spend more time and it would only look even better. I have gotten so many compliments from complete strangers about how nice my hair looks the day I wave it. I have tried it on my mom's hair and my sister's and unfortunately, it didn't work as well. So I do think results will vary depending on your hair type.

I have never had long hair before, but now it reaches past my shoulders. I usually flat iron it but thought it would be a nice change to put in some curls. I was considering a spiral curling iron, but I have Multiple Sclerosis, and most of the time my arms get very tired. I was concerned I wouldn’t have the strength to hold a spiral curling iron up for the time it would take me to do one lock of hair at a time. I thought this wave iron would work well for me because I could use it on large sections of hair all at once. But I am really surprised at the weight of this iron. Yes, I know that the weight in in the stats, and it is my fault for not reading more carefully. But this thing weighs a ton. Plus, as soon as I received it, I realized I would probably burn my fingers in the process of using it so I ordered a hot glove for it (suggestion to manufacturer: this should already be included). I could not hold it up long enough and was having a terrible time because it was so awkward due to the size. I was actually pulling the waves out of my hair as I moved down the strands to do the ends. My mom was able to do my hair with it, and I liked the results. It would probably cost me most of what I paid for the wave iron to ship it back. So I will keep it…and just use it on the weekends when my Mom can do my hair for me.

I purchased the hair waver and have been impressed with its fast heating time. It only takes a few minutes to heat up, which is great when you're in a hurry.
