Not all filters are created equal. These filters are tested and certified.
The item is exactly as pictured and described in the listing. I have been using genuine Frigidaire filters all the time and I'll explain why. Sure you will find filters "compatible" with ULTRAWF and at a much lower cost, however, what you should be paying attention to is whether or not the other "compatible" filters are tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 and 401. It is also certified by the Water Quality Association to WQA/ASPE/ANSI S 803 for sustainability. You will never have fitment or installation issues with a genuine ULTRAWF filter. Installation is as easy as push in and pull out to release the old filter and push in the new filter. It's a great value for the money because of the NSF/ANSI Standards it has been tested to comply with. Highly recommended.

Good filter that lasts a long time and no weird taste
Works great and lasts a long time. I haven’t had any issues with it, and it’s nice not having to replace the filter all the time. Definitely happy with it and would buy it again.

Good replacement
I need a replacement filter for my refrigerator. I read the reviews for this one and decided to give it a try. Well, this is the fourth replacement filter that I have used so I guess I’m happy with them. They’re easy to use and work fine.

Reliable but inconsistent prices
I’ve been using the Frigidaire Ultrafast Pure Source filter for a few years now, and overall it’s been very reliable. The water tastes clean and fresh, and I like the peace of mind knowing it’s doing a good job filtering. Installation is quick and hassle-free, which is a big plus. My only real downside is the price—it tends to fluctuate quite a bit, so sometimes it feels a little overpriced depending on when you buy it. Because I’ve been rebuying it for years, I’ve definitely noticed those ups and downs. Still, despite the price inconsistency, I keep coming back to it because it works well and I trust the quality.

Effective and easy to replace and remove.
In the past I tried off brand filters. They worked okay but were unbelievably hard to remove to change. The Frigidaire filters work great and are easy to remove.
