Culligan ISH-100 Inline Showerhead Filtration Attachment with Filter, 10,000 Gallon, White

This simple, affordable item was an instant solution to my dry skin problem. It's easy to install and the results are immediately noticeable. After following the easy instructions, I felt the change in my skin after my first shower with this filter. My skin didn't feel dry or tight. It felt as if I had already used moisturizing lotion. I no longer smell chlorine in my shower water and I no longer have residue left on my body after showering. The soap and shampoo work much better and are easier to rinse off and there is no slimy or filmy residue left on my skin or in my shower. This filter is more than worth the money. I can't say enough GREAT things about this filter. My dry skin is clearing up each time I shower. Do yourself a favor and buy this filter. You'll be glad you did.

First of all this product is $18 it is not going to get rid of 100% of the chorine, and it is going to have plastic parts! All that being said there is a noticeable difference even after just one use. My skin is not as dry and as itchy as it was before. Yes it did leak when I first installed it...took it down and in addition to the three layers of teflon tape I added a small bead of plumbers putty around the washer gasket and reassembled and re tightened everything. No leaks and everything stays in place. Very affordable and works quite well, and the filters last as long as the more expensive more highly rated brands. We'll see over time, but right now I am pleased. Worth the $$

This is an inexpensive and somewhat effective product. For the price I did not expect it to be the most durable, and it's not. The connection points, including the threads, are made out of plastic which means when you are screwing it onto a metal shower head the threads will eventually get stripped. When installing make sure to use the included teflon plumber's tape at the joints as it will ensure a good seal and has some give so less likely you strip the threads on the initial install.Our water does seem to be more manageable, skin is not quite as dry and hair seems less damaged. Again I would not think this is catching all the chlorine or otherwise filtering with 100% efficiency but for the cost it's pretty good. I did not do water tests like some other reviewers.The filter did come in what looked to be a repackaged state, the packing tape to seal the pacakge makes me think this was opened, returned, and resold. My original one broke after ~10 years, 4 moves, and no small amount of neglect, so I reordered this. You should know before ordering that it comes with its first filter. It also comes with a tiny roll of teflon tape, so you don't have to buy that or go hunting for some in your cobwebby basement shop, either. The new one is exactly the same as my old one, because you can't improve on greatness. I used to use this system to filter out chlorinated city water and that was a very noticeable positive change. Now I'm using it to filter silt out of my well water because my whole house filters aren't fully eliminating it, and there's a noticeable improvement with that too. My water pressure doesn't change as long as the disposable filter is still good. I'll have to keep on top of filter changes so that this one will last longer than a decade.

I am simply put SUPER impressed that for 24$ the water i absolutely hated in my shower has "magically" transformed into water that i love touching my skin while showering!The water is odorless now and feels very light and silky almost!! I look forward to showers now with my new filter and finally understand what people meant that a filter can change the whole experience. This is a great purchase and does the job just the same like real expensive filters in the market!A must have!! I definitely recommend and would buy again.

So I have a LED shower light that gets clogged up fairly quickly from my hard water. So I cleaned it, installed this. The first month, esp the first shower was great. No chlorine smell / taste. Well I am a heavy shower user (20-30 min) and its been less than three months. Im starting to see the shower head nozzles clog again. So I think if you take quick showers, this may last 6 months. If you take long showers, it will last 1-2 month. They sell a chrome version which I missed. Kinda stupid to have a white one with chrome heads.

Shipping was fast. Took the filter out of the box,looked it over, read directions..decided I would let my super handy husband install it,lol! He came home and read all the directions. He installed it in less than 5 minutes using the included plumbers tape. When done he stood outside the shower and turned the water on full blast and was immediately hit in the face with a giant stream of water coming out of the side of the filter. So after some cursing and drying off, he took it back down, reread the directions, reinstalled it and the same thing happened. Then I proceeded to install it in our other shower according to the directions and the same thing. Also it would not sit on our shower pipe like it does in the pic..It would turn itself over after you install it and there is no way to keep it up there like that. Maybe we got a dud but I doubt it..We got a refund and I got the 10,000 gallon culligan filter (its silver and looks like a regular although large shower head) and it works great! We also have the culligan kitchen sink filter ,which I installed and it works fine as well..I think this product might have just been poorly designed.

My water is 3mg/Liter concentration of Chlorine from the Municipal supply. I had no option but to run two of these inline to each other to low the chlorine levels, and it did the trick. Even with water at the US Federal Limit for Chlorine, a dual inline system handles it perfectly, but I know a single would not. Without a filter, it smells like 4:1 bleach solution, that burns your nose to breath it and had chemically burned my natural long waist length hair up to the point it was super brittle not long after moving to my new area. Damage is done to my hair, but the new hair growth has kept is strength, and my scalp and skin is not longer dry and itchy This is the only way that is affordable I know that works. I am also taking one with me on my travels. I highly recommend.

Holy Crap! This filter saved my hair! I recently moved n was blessed with "town water" 4 months in my hair felt like straw, turned a brassy color and was dry as anything I ordered this lil gem and it was shipped the same day and arrived 3 days early My hair (after 2 showers) is back to normal and my skin even looks and feels amazing I rarely leave reviews but this deserves one I already asked for O e for Xmas :)

Inmediatamente se siente una mejora en la calidad del agua, se instala en 2 minutos, eso si tienes que tener una buena presión, por que disminuye la presión de tu tubería, por la poca diferencia recomiendo la de metal, mejora tu piel, al final del regaderazo la piel no luce tan reseca como antes de poner el filtro, ampliamente recomendable

Great product. Removes about 30 % of the chlorine. If you combine it with the Culligan RDSH-C115 RainDisc Showerhead with filter, the two together should filter out 60% of the chlorine.

El agua de mi casa llega muy contaminada, y se me resecaba muchísimo la piel, este producto fue la santa solución, lo único que no me gusta es que el agua ya no sale con la presión con la que salia, pero es de esperarse por el mismo filtro, bueno así ayuda a que ahorre agua.
