Orthofeet Lava Orthopedic Men's Walking Shoes

These shoes are very comfortable and make walking pain free. They seem to be well made and you can just slip them on and off easily. Some people have complained the shoes are too loose so I ordered a regular size 8, instead of 8 wide and they aren't loose. Orthofeet do make their shoes and boots with larger toe boxes so as to not rub on bunions etc. Furthermore, there are different size spacers and arch supporters included so you can customize them to your feet. They do cost a little more than similar shoes, but they are made better which I think makes it worth it. I do recommend them.

The comfort and solidity of the shoes are amazing. I purchased size 10 which will work fine. I will get 9.5 next time. I just put these on and can tell I will really like these. I plan on being a loyal customer to companies that make products like these. Thank you

They fit perfectly and are very comfortable - which is important with my neuropathy. This is the 2nd pair I have purchased from Orthofeet. The first pair, also very comfortable, are too hot for summer wear, so I bought these. A good investment.

Pros and cons so far. Pros: The fit was pretty good. Not sure why people complained it was too loose. Right out the box, the shoes were already laced and slipped on without an issue. I added the arch support and the adjustment felt more supportive. Cons So in terms of width, the toe box on the regular shoe wasn't wide enough. I assumed for orthopedic shoes, it would already address/have a wide toe box but it didn't. Squeaky sounds. I'm guessing once I wear the shoes in, the sound will go away. But they're not to bad unless i pay close attention to it. Overall: I give these 4 out of 5.

SKETCHER’s Step ins are more comfortable and much easier on and off. These shoes are well made but these shoes are not step-ins. You have to tie them. For AMAZON To advertise them right next to the STEP-IN’s brand is deceiving to the buyer. It fooled me. Careful and purchase what you want and not be deceived or disappointed. Having said that, these shows are well made if that is what you are looking for.

Perfect fit … didnt need the added innersoles or arch supports which are a bonus !! From someone who doesnt wear this type of shoe… my knees thank you!! Will buy another pair! ⭐️

The first pair of shoes I purchased were awesome. The second pair were equally amazing. I was expecting no less when I purchased these. My expectations were they would be comfortable right out of the box like my first two pairs. Whew, was I wrong. Within minutes of walking in these the plantar fasciitis that was remedied by my original pair of these shoes was back. Then came the shooting pain in my legs. Thinking that these just needed a break in period, I wore them for a full ten hour shift at work. By the sixth hour I was in so much pain I had to switch back to my old second pair. It took 3 more days before the plantar fasciitis resolved and another few days for the pain in my legs to subside. So they've sat, unused until four days ago. I had some intense on-my-feet work to do and thought I'd give them one last try. Initially the result was the same. Plantar fasciitis flare but, the leg pain was only mild. I was about to give up on them until I noticed they began to finally break in. Now, they are just so so compared to my first two purchases. While I am thankful that they are finally workable, the amount of out of the box pain I suffered from these was unreasonable. Add to that the amount of physical labor I had to undertake just to make them ok just makes these shoes not worth the purchase. I wanted to give them a better review, but one star is more than generous considering how awful my experience with these have been.
