Best darned caulking gun out there!
Best caulking gun EVER! To be fair, I saw this used and recommended on a you tube DIY video. I like the guy and his trim carpentry advice, so I took a chance and bought this caulking gun. It is AWESOME! No drip, that's a fact. Easy to use, comfortable hand grips and the BEST PART is that it only costs $12 bucks!! I have purchased other caulking guns in the past from the big box stores and they said they were dripless, yada, yada. They were total crap and I paid far more than I paid for this one. If you do a lot of caulking, adhesive work or any other "tube squeezing activities" you need this gun!

Great caulking gun
I usually can't use caulkers because I 1) have small hands and limited grip strength, and 2) don't have a clue about their specific use and how to use them. HOWEVER, this was easy after some research and learning. Even though I still used this one for the wrong application, I was still able to operate it with a peanut butter like adhesive. I strongly believe if I had used the right level of caulker, it would have been a breeze.I'm a 5'4" small-frame female with a narly grip for being able to fit into a youth size football or baseball glove. This caulking gun was comfortable, well-balanced and made the job possible for me to do myself. I definitely recommend, but be sure it's rated for the material you will be using.

Great Caulking Gun, But Rivets Could Use Improvement
The Newborn Octogun 930-GTD Drip-Free Caulking Gun is a solid and reliable tool for any caulking job. The Gator Trigger Grip provides excellent comfort and control, and the 10:1 thrust ratio makes it easy to apply caulk smoothly. The inclusion of a scraper and plug is a nice bonus, adding extra value. The smooth hex rod cradle with the built-in smoother tool helps with precision and cleanup. However, after using it for a while, I noticed that the rivets in the mechanism tend to wear out or wallow after some heavy usage. This is a bit of a drawback, as it affects the overall durability. While it still functions, the long-term wear could be a concern for frequent users.Overall, it’s a great tool for the price no issues with sticking handles or size in tight corners, just keep an eye on the rivets for extended use.

Loved this
Anything you need for caulking in one unit. I always needed something to poak the dried tips is built in. I also use masking tape to seal the tip, well this has its own cap. Ctting the tip of a new silicone tube with a knifw, although I havent use the builtin cutter, nice to have.

TOTALLY WORTH IT - ACTUALLY drip free, lightweight, sturdy, smooth & consistent trigger
The media could not be loaded. After using a regular caulking gun for years, I was skeptical this product would be notably better but IT IS. Standard caulking guns require me to release the pressure on the caulk tube even after I release the trigger to avoid the release of caulk. When I release the trigger on the Newborn Octogun, the caulk flow actually stops, hence the no-drip.I can't tell you how many times I would forget to release the pressure on the tube only to look back and see a pile of wasted caulk that I would then have to clean up.• I used on: Trim, windows, bathroom tile, toilet seals (Used both 100% silicone and regular caulk)• Product as described: Yes• Quality: High• Packaging: Ok.• Responses to other reviews: There is no learning curve for this product BUT there is a learning curve for caulking. It is better to watch videos on caulking vs. reading an instruction manual• Me: DIYer @ age 40.PROS:✔ Drip Free: IT ACTUALLY WORKS - See comment above.✔ Trigger - Smooth and consistent.✔ Lightweight, sturdy and comfortable handle✔ Built in tools - There is a spout cutter and a seal puncture tool.CONS:• NONE!!!TIPS:🔹 First time: If it is your first time caulking - watch a lot of videos on proper way to do it. It sounds silly for something conceptually so simple but it is an art form.🔹 Cleaning: Wipe it down after each use - don’t wait until there are multiple layers built up.🔹 Caulk tube cut: Watch videos on how to cut tube. Sand the tube at the cut. Seems silly but will dramatically improve your caulking.🔹 Material Compatibility: Ensure the caulk or sealant used is appropriate for the gun's 10:1 thrust ratio, as thicker materials may require more effort

Great Chalk Gun!
No drip. So much better than budget chalk guns. So glad I spent a few extra dollars for something that works really well.

Not only a great buy- this is a great tool!
Caulking guns have been long overdue for better designs, and this one is. As a builder using such things for decades, this is the best basic one I've ever seen, at any price- and the price is very good for the quality. The way the plunger is designed keeps residual pressure off the contents unless the handle is under pressure, and that is what gives it the non-drip advantage. The built in tube puncture tool is notmal- but the built in tip cutting tool is uncommon and saves time and labor. Built nice, comfortable and the built-in nozzle plug will save a lot of partially used caulk tubes from loss. Excellent product, I think the one to chose.
