Works great, open dark off, close dark on.

This is a great idea for illuminating the interior of a cabinet. I found that I could install the light portion on the inside of the cabinet face frame (just below the hinge) and the magnet on the inside of the door. Initially they turned off and on well, but 2 weeks later I found that the batteries were out on 2 of them and learned that the magnet was not well aligned and the light was turning on again after completely closing the cabinet door. I opened up one of the magnet sections and found that the metal magnet is actually mounted on one side of the plastic enclosure (where the "wi-fi" mark is stamped--makes sense to me now. See photo)I adjusted the magnet part to the "wi-fi" mark was better aligned with the light when the cabinet door is closed and seems to work wellI plan though to purchase larger/more powerful magnets though to use to trigger the light to turn off for future reliability though. This product is only useful if the light reliably turns off and the battery is preserved with each cabinet door closing!Like the product though and would purchase again. As far as I can tell it's the only option using this small form-factor and magnet-actuation (As of 8/2023)

I use these under my gaming computer setup, and it looks amazing! The motion sensor works perfectly, turning the lights on as soon as I approach. It adds a cool ambient glow to the space without being too bright or distracting. The fact that it’s rechargeable is super convenient, and I don’t have to worry about replacing batteries. Overall, it's a great addition to my gaming area and gives it that extra touch of style! Highly recommend if you want to add some flair to your setup!

The use cases for this item is very small with how close the magnet needs to be to turn the light off. Also, all 4 of the devices I received only came with 1 tape, so make sure you buy some extra double-sided tape to account for this. It also uses 8 AAA batteries if you use all 4 devices (also not included). Good qualities is the light is nice and bright for such a small device. Finding a good use case for this is proving to be challenging. I bought it for a closet, but can't get the light to a spot where it is useful and also turn off when the door is closed.

The media could not be loaded. We just moved into our new place and 3 closets don't have any type of light. I am so glad I found these! The door has a lip so we had to use something to make it a little thicker so it would reach but the felt round works perfect and isn't to unsightly. We love these because now we can see in the closets and as u can see are bright enough to see all the way to the bottom!

If you install it wrong, it won't work no matter what you do. So, pay careful attention to the pics on the ad itself as they do not come with instructions, at least none were found in my box. Once you stick them exactly in the angle the picture shows, they work incredibly well. I like them more than other lights I purchased, the light is whiter and more intense. Just be careful with the installation and you'll be happy you did.

It's a good idea but is not practical as you have to have the magnetic within 2 cm and aligned with the light so it turns off when the door is closed. Read carefully as this is not readily found in the description. There is no where to put it in my cupboards where they will work. The light isn't that bright either.

Wanted to use these for kitchen cabinets. It is impossible to install them where they're not in the way. Where I could install them they illuminate very little.
