The flexible inner shaft should be checked, wiped clean, and relubricated with grease every 50 hours of use. With every 200 hours of use, the shaft should be thoroughly cleaned with solvent and lubricated. Instructions for lubrication are detailed in your machine's Owner's Manual which is available in the Download Center located in the right hand column of the website. We also recommend that you watch our maintenance videos which offer step by step help with routine maintenance. I bought this because I have a few flexible shafts that have been around a while. For me, I think this tube of grease will last for years. You don't need to put much on the shaft. This grease seems to be the perfect consistency to stick to the flexible shaft core.

Good stuff
This grease has the consistency of toothpaste and stays where you put it as flex shaft is reassembled. Works as described. There are videos on YouTube on the correct method of application.

Awesome stuff
Purchased this for lubing the flex shafts for my WEN rotary tools and it works perfectly. It doesn't take much lube so don't stress over the size of the tube.; 1 oz will last a great while depending on how often/long you use your rotary tool.
