Robert Plant's Post-Led Zeppelin Solo Career is celebrated with an expanded & remastered edition. The Principle of Moments is a complex and expressive sonic marvel. It includes four rare bonus tracks as well as the previously-unreleased track, "Turnaround." Review: Great Album! - Everything was great. Condition of the record is fantastic. We started listening I'm immediately and love this album! Review: Great classic album with bonus tracks! - One of my all time favorite albums. This is a Rhino reissue that was masterfully done and the inclusion of 3 bonus tracks from a live concert in Texas and 1 previously unreleased song just make this album a must have for the Robert Plant fan.

Good Tunes
Good trippy music. Stevie Ray Vaughan plays guitar. Some of his best guitar ever (in my humble opinion) is on ‘Big Log’ which I can keep on Repeat in the truck for a week.

A very valid and original musical statement
When it was released in mid-1983, The Principle of Moments bore a distinctive new sound. Using the same core band as Pictures at Eleven, Robert Plant managed to somehow shift directions and produce a valid, original musical statement. It's so well crafted it still sounds as fresh as it did today. Robert is in unbelievable form here, able to sound so comfortable in different soundscapes and truly delivering amazing performances. Guitarist Robbie Blunt's superb vision and tasteful playing fill the album with a kind of 'cold warmth', don't know how he gets all those beautiful sounds. Phil Collins simply shows once more what a brilliant drummer he is, making the drums such a delightful listen. His early work with Genesis and Brand X is no short of spectacular. Keyboard player Jezz Woodroffe and bassist Paul Martinez are as inventive and tight as it gets and shouldn't be taken for granted. This easily is in my opinion Plant's best solo band. Songs like In The Mood, Wreckless Love, Thru With The Two Step and Big Log are definitely up there with anything Robert has put out on his solo career. Other Arms and Messin' With The Mekon are also strong. Not sure whether the bonus tracks - on the amazing remastered edition - are a worthy bunch, probably not. The only interesting thing is the last track Turnaround which was recorded at the same time as the original sessions, but one can tell why it was left off the album in the first place. I'll be quickly programming songs 1 to 8, sit back and enjoy what this unique album has to offer. To keep this short, I'd like to point out that the 2007 remaster adds real punch and clarity to the music, ultimately giving it more depth. The old cd version just doesn't cut it, THIS DOES! I can easily listen to The Principle of Moments now and be enveloped by its density of sound. There's no turning back.

Ce disque que j'ai découvert en 1982 (date de sa sortie) est un incontournable de la culture rock. En plus des huit titres de l'album original, il contient 4 titres bonus "live".
