Solved a problem covering unusually sized junction boxes
We had 2 unusually sized ceiling junction boxes and after searching our local hardware store for hours I stumbled upon these. Problem solved! I was able to mount these to those oddly sized junction boxes very easily. And they can be painted, so they blend fairly well into the ceiling. Of course they remain visible, but they are not nearly the eyesore that having mismatched covers were. And there are no visible screws so in my opinion these are a cleaner install than those mounted with screws. With these there is a plastic bracket that mounts to the box (which bracket is very versatile as far as sizing of the box goes) and then these just "snap" into that bracket. And if we need access to the wiring in those junction boxes it is simple to do so. I can have these down in seconds without tools. And then just as easily they go back up in seconds. In fact our electrician had to remove and replace the one next to the light fixture in order to mount that box, and gave us a "thumb's up" for using them. They are not flush with the ceiling, but again, they are quite easy to remove and replace, fit the boxes very nicely, and were simple to install with just a screw driver. If you have a junction box of odd size these could work for you, too!

Well made
Good quality item, not like some of those other thin & flimsy plastic discs. The circle is large enough to cover a standard light hole and any imperfections around it. The plastic has a little texture on it so if you don't have popcorn ceilings it may stand out a little more. It also isn't a snow-white color. More like a dirty white, which is perfect for ceilings that haven't been painted in a while....LOL Easy to install. Great buy.

Convenient and looks good
I've used this cover several times now and I really like how clean it looks. There is a big difference when there aren't any visible screws in the cover plate. My biggest issue is the screws that are provided. They are not a standard bit shape and strip easily.

Easy Fix, Works Well
Discovered a hole containing electrical wiring behind a mirror in the house I just purchased. Although hidden it was in the bathroom and thus potentially open to moisture and isn't great for heat retention in winter either. This took about 3 minutes to install and took care of the problem. Looks good and is a proper fix (sealing off the wiring by still accessible if needed).

Installs in 2 minutes - blends in immediately...
Very simple install - several options on how to actually position the cover. This cover looks light years better than the previous painted-over metal cover that had visible screws. Amazing how something for $5 could greatly enhance the "natural" appearance of the kitchen ceiling. The photo I uploaded shows it "off-center" as the original cover wasn't centered. Hence, the Arlington cover was easy to re-position so it covered the unpainted area left behind by the old plate cover. Seems to fit pretty snug to the ceiling in my opinion - and my ceiling has some sand-texture mixed into the paint. I'm very satisfied with this item.

Super quick install
Looks good. Fast install. The screws that came with it didn't work with our box but it's likely that's just our house. We used wood screws to get a bite. Our house is 200 years old, we find some crazy stuff here. So i was especially surprised it installed so quickly and without the typical fist fighting repairs usually take!

Perfect for the job
Excellent. Wanted the item to cover a hole in the ceiling after a light fitting had been removed.

A good alternative
My electrician covered a junction box with one of these and since then I've replaced all the others in my house with them. They are so much nicer looking than the steel ones I had before, even painted white they are not that attractive. These plastic ones are simple to install and have different screw hole placements so they can fit a couple of sizes of boxes. One draw back is using them on textured ceilings, they don't sit absolutely flush as they would on a flat ceiling but it doesn't make much of a difference to me because I like the look of them so much.

it's handy
arrived before the expected window period; I expected that the holes on the stud would definitely be bigger than the holes/screws in the socket that I'd like to cover up, but as the cover is light, you can use whichever side of hole of the two on the stud, then attach the cover; as it's light it can hold up fine.
