SM5403 - Strut Mount Kit , Black

I did my suspension 5 years ago and replaced the mounts with cheaper Monroe mounts, after the OEM ones lasted over 10 years. The passenger mount started to fail, rubber separating from the suspension, so I replaced it with these from KYB, more expensive but my mechanic said he wouldn't use Monroe. So far it's lasting and working well. Hopefully they last longer.

I was getting a popping on the right side of my 2002 Honda CR-V. It sounded like a strut mount so I ordered the KYB replacement. The replacement installed perfectly and silenced the noise.KYB makes excellent Asain replacement parts.I can't help but wonder if KYB is a third shift shop. That is, Honda and Toyota contract to KYB for their OEM parts, and OEM parts are built during first and second shift. When the managers go home third shift runs the same parts line for KYB.

What can you say? My not need to replace these mounts with the new KYB starts, but if yo are going to do the strut cost and labor, then it might be wise to invest in new mounts. Cost about $32 each.

poor product, i bought these from amazon and the box shows parts were made in india. i'm not sure if it's a legitimate product of kyb, as i always see kyb parts either made in japan and taiwan with durability in the same order. anyway center rubber bushing separated from the inside housing and caused rattling and thumping. good thing i saved the old oem top mount so i just removed this kyb top mount and reused the old oem one. problem solved. i only bought this to go with my new gr2 kyb strut for my crv 2006, btw this is after 1 year of use on brooklyn street driving. dont buy this product!

These do fit the SC model as well. All elements models use the same upper mount. The actual strut is different but the mount is the same. I have emailed KYB to confirm there fitment

Great product it comes with every thing you need it includes new nut for the strut mount and quality bearings it does include instructions which was a plus so I didn't have to get on all-data to check the torque specifications. Highly recommend this product and seller 5 stars was my rating because every thing was accurately written with instructions and fast shipping.

Received these KYB mounts on time for my 2004 Acura RSX Type S. They fit just like OEM and the ride feel is no different when compared to stock mounts quality-wise. They came with bearings so I didn't worry in buying them to complete installation.Definetely recommend them as a OEM alternative.
