Very good product

I have always been gassy and have been dxd with “IBS” since 2020. Probiotics have been in my life since people started talking about them. Fiber has been a daily since the 1980s. My guts and gas have plagued me since I was 10. Very likely a lifetime if antibiotics. One week of this and my belly is less distended, I am not passing gas when I crouch, I have not has urges to go or pain during peristalsis. I am not having loud painful gas in my abdomen. This is pretty shocking. And yes, I have a pretty heavy regimen of supplements, pre and probiotics for supporting guts and other chronic conditions. The addition of this made a noticeable difference.

The only reason why I give the supplement four stars is because it uses Maltrodextrin, which is worse than natural sugar because it creates even a higher insulin response. Most sugar is absorbed if you make this into a yogurt, even the Maltodextrin, which is a natural starch-derived carbohydrate. I saw one person who stated that Maltodextrin is MSG, Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), but Maltodextrin and MSG are completely different substances. There was a reference to a different brand of Bacillus coagulase however, that brand is not the GBI – 30,6086 strain that is recommended to assist with arthritic pain, irritable, bowel syndrome and assisting our bodies with muscle recovery after strenuous exercise. I will stick with this brand unless I notice that there is any adverse events from the ingredients in it.

If you want the Bacillus coagulans to colonize your gut, one easy approach is to make a "yogurt" from this. I use four capsules in 4 cups of half-and half and 1 tablespoon of inulin, fermented at 105 degrees F. Add some pomegranate for a real treat. When eaten as a yogurt it tastes great and helps get rid of gut bloating.

I have not noticed much difference in my digestion but the price was excellent for the quantity and I do not doubt the quality either. I just don't usually have miraculous results from most supplements.....but still try and use various supplements after researching and being convinced of the health benefits. This one is supposed to be good for candida which I do not think I have a problem with, just wanted to be proactive and keep things in balance.....especially to hopefully negate the bad things I do, like the occasional gluten free snacks and bread and drinking beer.

Packaged well but I have not used it as yet. I'm still finishing the bottle of a different probiotic and will start with the new product sometime in February. If I find a problem with this product I will update this review.
