The ease of use and complete convienance of having it works perfectly for both my charity fundraising work and when I sell my crafts. It is amazing that it takes so many different forms of payment. That makes it even easier. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent quality. Fast shipping. we use these at pop-up markets for our vintage store. Work well with hotspot on our phones. You can either print a paper receipt, text a receipt, email receipt or no receipt Easy to use and quick to set up. You will need a Square account and a bank account to direct funds to.

The Square Credit Card Portable Machine is very easy to use. You can upload your products directly on the device or on the website (preferred because all your corresponding images are most likely on your main computer). It only takes seconds for the two to sync. Your customers will appreciate the convenience and you will be happy it is helping you make more sales. Absolutely a must have for any small business, service based or retail based. We use the Square Terminal in our shop and couldn't be any happier with it! It's super simple to use, works every time and Square constantly sends updates to make sure it's up to date with everything needed for my small business. The receipts print very nicely and even print your logo effortless on the receipt. The receipt paper can be found on Amazon for a very affordable price for bulk quantity too!! The one thing we love is that the Square Terminals syncs with your Square Account so you can make changes to products, services, receipt info, and everything else from their website and it will automatically sync to your Square Terminal. The battery life is also pretty amazing. If I didn't plug it in at all, it would last us for at least 2 days with constant use, that's pretty awesome and makes it a perfect portable solution. Another advantage is that the Square Terminal syncs directly with our POS Software so when we ring a sale and a customer wants to to using their card, it sends the info directly to our Square Terminal seamlessly. Not all POS Software Solutions support Square Terminal, but we are very thankful that ours does. Overall, if you are looking for an easy to use, durable, portable POS Solution that can accept credit cards and even print receipts for you, then don't hesitate to purchase the Square Terminal. Just so you are aware, I know my review may sound influenced, but I assure you I have not been influenced in anyway with writing this review. The Square Terminal is just that awesome and I think you'll love it too!

Square terminal has a very, very low quality wireless internet chip/antenna/system/software. Failed to connect or even find a connection. This type of failure is well reported in the lower three tiers of Amazon reviews. This was purchased for on the go sales using available signal that I have used countless times before. Had to resort to standby card reader connected to the Square software on my phone. Tested the wireless signals with two different devices. There is definitely a fault. Why did I buy this device? We do craft fairs and utilize available wireless usually through a nearby store NOT via cellphone. Realize that only by an actual internet connection are Square credit card purchases verified so you are handling a valid card. I have seen this problem with other alleged wireless connections devices most frequently in scanners. A local merchant I see has had connectivity problems and even problems with the thermal printer. This device is not designed to last. There are numerous reports of the sale of outdated and unsupported hardware with this company. My advice is to stick to simple and use the small reader that connects to a phone by blue tooth. The Square company spent more money on the packaging than testing the viability of this terminal/printer/wireless device. First few transactions worked through home internet and then not at all.

I was hoping to be able to create a transaction on the phone and pass it through to the terminal, but apparently that is not possible. Hopefully it will be a feature that can be added later through a firmware update. Also, you have to have a mobile hotspot (we do the farmers market), or wifi, to allow instant processing of transactions. Those 2 reasons are why I give it 4 stars. I would do 4.5 if possible because they are minor annoyances. I love that you can print a receipt from it and that it does all 3 methods of payments (chip, swipe and tap). We got it on sale for a great price and overall are happy with it. If something happens and that changes, I will update my review later, but for now, we like it.
