I just stuffed this yesterday and practiced a few moves on it. If you're wondering how much filling to buy, I bought 20 pounds of memory foam and it seems to have filled it all the way. I maybe could have shoved another two or three pounds in this and it would be solid as a rock. Right now, it's still solid. Yes, it's annoying to stuff this, but just throw on a movie or listen to some music and it's a pretty mindless affair. What bothered me most was all of the loose threads inside the dummy that my hands keep getting caught on as I was trying to stuff it. But that's kinda me just being a baby. The canvas exterior is tough. I washed mine before stuffing and some of the iron-on wording started to peel off, which I don't really care about. I'd suggest you get this if you're looking for some extra practice on your technique. It certainly won't replicate real rounds, but it might be helpful. And this is certainly a better deal that buying one already stuffed. Take your time with the stuffing and you'll have a great new partner who didn't forget to wear deodorant that morning.

I got this for my son so he could use it to take out his angry feelings or to just toss around. It was a hit! He loves it and so do any other kids that come over. It was a bit of a pain getting the stuffing in but worth it.

I have a few things to say that are really important to consider when buying this product. 1) I AM A 5'2" FEMALE AROUND 120lbs. I purchased the 60" option. This thing isn't even the biggest option, but for me is pretty large! 2) I FILLED THIS THING WITH 10lbs OF Polyfill. I went off other reviews saying they used 20lbs... they must've purchased the larger size dummy. Pollyfill is working great so far. At first I tried extra, old clothing. The dummy was limp and unusable. Stuffed it tight with Polyfill and his arms actually stick up and his legs are bent nice and firm. 3) THIS THING COLLECTS HAIR! If you have animals, try to keep it off the carpet/bed/couch. Only on the mat. Regardless, I think he will collect lint and hair anyway from ones clothing. I honestly don't care too much about that. But you can even see in the photos the lint on him (and this is after I lint rolled him a bunch). 4) NOW TO ITS EFFECTIVENESS. I'm a beginner at Jiu-Jitsu and have only used this guy 2-3 times, but man... I was actually super happy to be able to drill the techniques respectively that I watched on YouTube. My routine is to watch a YouTube video, write down notes and steps, then drill it on the dummy multiple times. Listen, write and then physically do! BECAUSE OF HIS BENT LEGS... I was able to put this dummy in my full guard and could practice armbars, triangle chokes, omoplatas, sweeps, etc. You can also mount this guy and practice attacks from there! I also took joy in just punching his face a bunch, lol. Majority of the practice you get from this partner will be attacks. You can't really practice defense much against an unresisting partner. But man! I think it's really great for practicing and memorizing the steps for a variety of different attacks... which you can then take to the mat to practice against a real opponent. Definitely a good buy for brand new beginner at Jiu-Jitsu. For me, at least. Who knows how I'll hold up against real people, but this guy is great for going through the steps at your own pace. I can't say how durable this guy is because I've had him for less than a week. If anything happens with the stitching or fabric, I'll update my review! :)

As a BJJ white belt I’ve been wanting to reinforce what I’ve learned in class by practicing at home. I’ve been eyeing this dummy and should not have waited so long. It’s the perfect size and will be a great training tool for me as a smaller female. Filling wasn’t too bad and took about 2 hours with 20lbs stuffing. It could use a little more but for now will be good. I can’t wait to workout with it and see how durable and versatile it really is.

Works really well and has a good shape for BJJ. I'm a brown belt and use this before class to refresh on some moves before my class. It's cloth so I don't recommend letting anyone else use it unless you want so crazy staph infections. I've been cleaning it with Lysol spray, so it's worked so far. I think it took like 5lbs of filling to fill it up. Don't get the large one. It's a giant so now I feel like I'm rolling with the heavyweight champion of the UFC every time. Should have grabbed the small or medium one.

Extremely disappointed with the product and Amazon customer service. I bought the XL and stuffed it with 30lbs of memory foam which took hours. Upon the first use, the armpit seam tore. You can literally see the foam now. Originally I thought the product looked great, felt great, and helped me train. That was until I heard a very loud ripping sound. I tried to call customer service, but they won’t give me a refund or send a replacement unless I send them the original back. I’m not about to spend several hours de-stuffing the old dummy just to spend several more re-stuffing a new one until it’s beyond the repair capabilities of duct tape. Don’t buy this product, invest in something higher quality. Especially since you will have to spend hours stuffing the thing anyway. You might as well buy something stronger the first time and not worry about re-stuffing a new dummy.

Very useful. I filled it with old clothes. It takes time to fill, and you will need to add more filling after each use for a while. I estimate that mine currently weighs between 70-90 lbs. Be careful when applying armbars - you might rip the stitching at the shoulder joint. But, if you treat it like a human sparring partner, it will last a long time.

It’s very good for jiujitsu

I bought this for a gift for a 12 year old who loves wrestling on the trampoline. Seems like it’s good quality and should holdup well. It is an absolute beast to stuff especially if you have big hands. It took the 4 ft model took 15 lbs of foam stuffing and has a decent amount of weight after being stuffed. Plan an hour to stuff it and start with the limbs.
