Only Fools and Horses - Complete Series 1 - 7 [DVD] [1981]

Seeing Sir David Jason in 1981 before 'Granville' is fun & this series is quite good! His 'Del' is quite the wheeler-dealer & buying/selling goods out of his van - let's just say that what 'Del' deals in will never have a warranty & are of often dubious origin... A fine supporting cast helps make this series a great ride!!

I watched the original on tv and had rewatched originally on britbox. It is't a complete set, I know how the series ended and this wasn't it.

What a Great British Comedy. Love It. I've long had a Region Free DVD Player for just such occasions. These are yet another Excellent Performance by Sir David Jason & Crew.

Timeless classic humor. Witty, well written and funny. One of the true classic Britcoms.

Like all. Very funny.

It was a gift, so I can't rate the quality of DVD. Hands down one of the best shows I ever watched, you will laugh for days!

I got hooked on this series, while living in Europe and watching Sky TV out of the UK. I enjoyed the show so much that I had to have it on DVD to watch it all over again!!!!

Great DVD set, it brought back memories. I recommend this to all who love the Trotters. DVD were in a nice box and cases were sturdy, I will enjoy running through these again.

Good stuff! David Jason (open all hours) is good for a laugh. I hesitated buying this set but I am glad that I did. It was really nice watching the little guy outsmarting their betters for a change when the occasion arose. 2 brothers & their grandad up to silly stuff that will make you laugh :P

Who doesn't love a bit of 'ol Delboy? I love this show and this box set delivers exactly what you would expect from a boxset of Only Fools and Horses. Easily packaged and ready to watch the DVD's are like any other DVD. However if English is your second language be sure to give this some time, and dont expect everything to make sense, particularly with the subtitles. The show relies heavily on British Humour, but if you like a classic British sense of humour this will leave you on the floor.

Fantastic show very clever

This box set is superb - but it is what it says, just the seasons 1 to 7. The Christmas specials were included in a couple of the early seasons, but once it was seen how popular the show was the specials became separate feature length episodes (and as a fan who purchased each series and Christmas special as it came out (I brought this set for my Mum) they are well worth a look too as they add so much to the stores (Jolly Boys Outing sees the return of Rachael, and Sleepless in Peckham (the last one ever) was viewed by over 60% of the British public on Christmas day when it first aired). If you want EVERY episode of Only Fools and Horses then buy this set and then buy the specials individually. There is a complete box set but apparently it has been edited to pieces (BBC not wanting to pay extra fees for background music etc - despite this being the most awarded (and watched) comedy show in Britain!). Then get the Rock and Chips Trilogy - now you have it all! This series was the best thing to come out of the BBC, with others like Porridge, Going Straight, Open All Hours etc following closely behind (but never exceeding). Green Green Grass was very funny, but only a spin off and not a follow on. The big shame here is that it's writer (John Sullivan) passed away recently so we will never see this kind of quality comedy again. Buy it - watch it - laugh yourself silly!

Lo compré como regalo para mi padre. Hemos visto la serie muchísimas veces y es muy buena, muy divertida con los mejores personajes!
