I bought the 6-inch thick foam. Be aware that when they say "high density" they really mean it. This was bought in the attempt to replace a sofa arm-cushion, but the result is too hard. I had to carve the foam into the rough shape of the pillow using a box cutter, but the result isn't natural looking or comfortable. I waited for a while before writing this, in the hopes that it would soften up over time, but it has been several weeks now, and it hasn't yet. This is all on me, of course. There's nothing wrong with the foam itself, but it's definitely firm. Very firm. Not particularly comfortable to stretch out and lay your head on, for example. And I don't think it would be pleasant to sit on if you were using it to replace a sofa seat-cushion. So just be aware of what you're buying. Honestly, I'm not sure what this foam would be better used for, but it's probably not furniture. At least not the 6-inch thickness. Thinner cuts might work for padding between wood and upholstery.

Once again Hermes threw the package (clearly marked “fragile” over an 8 foot wall to land on our rubble pile. It yet again chipped some of the foam but since last time we complained, nothing happened, we figured “what’s the point?”That said, it’s the delivery guy and not the product that should be getting a poor review. This product is perfectly fine. Perhaps a little hard on its own but some batting on top makes this quite a plush upholstery material. I’m knocking off one star as it’s fairly stiff foam and also because they need to change their courier and listen to their customers concerns.

This is a firm, yet soft foam that I used to provide a buffer on my garage wall, which protects the car door from grazing the wall when it is opened. I kept the foam wrapped in the plastic in which it arrived, dabbed some hard as nails/no more nails-style glue along one side and applied it to the wall. A little while later, the foam was stuck in place and the car door was safe from any attack from the wall.

Used to reupholster a bench seat we made and it is perfect - very comfortable and the right thickness for the job. Highly recommended!

Item as ordered, very quick delivery, no problems with the transaction. Some of the previous reviews said it was quite stiff but I found it To be exactly what I wanted and I have used it to remodel a motorcycle seat, putting a hump when the passenger usually sits. it is perfect for this.

Excellent purchase

Could have bought this much cheaper from local store but overall it is good quality foam, easy to cut leaves nice neat edges (I used sharp scissors that I only use for foam). Happy with my purchase
