I was given a sample in hope of a review, but my thoughts are my own.Made my great bed even better~! First off, some basic info? Big guy 6'0" 300+ with a small wife (barely 5ft tall), with a 5-6yr old sleep number bed (yes, they work, but that's for another review elsewhere). Both knees replaced, one hip replaced, both shoulders 'repaired', neuropathy, on and on, the point being is that I generally do not sleep well and most everything hurts, and my "sleep number" is 40.So when I was offered a chance to test this I jumped at the chance! I live on disability, so I can't buy stuff willy-nilly to try. While waiting for the product to arrive, I read many of the reviews and saw many of the complaints people had about weird sizes, random shapes, lumpiness, etc. None of that would be acceptable at all for me.About a day before Topper arrived I got an email from the company thanking me for my purchase and outlining the best steps to follow for opening and allowing the topper to air out and expand to its correct size/shape. In the email, it states that depending on temp/humidity levels it can take anywhere from 24 to 72hrs for this process to take place. The email also noted that if there was any smell, it would go away during this period.My Topper arrived in a box within a box, very well protected. Weight around 14lbs or so. After removing from the box you must cut this plastic wrap *carefully*, making sure not to cut the Topper, and you should do this in the room you plan to let the Topper stay in for the next 1-3 days. We have a small spare bedroom full of clutter, and the Topper just laid out over and on top of the clutter with the door closed for the next few days (nosey dogs in the family). I checked in on it 2-3 times per day and found it growing every time I checked. There was a smell I noticed at the first check, that was gone by the second check the same night. While the Topper was ready by the end of the second day (size/shape), we weren't planning to remake the bed until the next day.So now it is day three since the Topper was unpacked, roughly 67hrs, all the bedding and mattress cover was stripped from the bed, and I decided to see if the Topper would fit "inside the top zippered section of the Sleep Number Bed". So I unzipped the top (cloth cover with stitching and roughly 1-2" of stitched padding) and since the Topper by design is supposed to be 1-inch shorter on each side, it fit perfectly inside this space. I then carefully zipped up the top section of our Sleep Number Bed and we then remade the bed.We have since slept on our bed this way without any changes for eight nights now (as of this writing 09/04/2016). I can feel a real difference~! To me personally, it is a huge difference~! As in I can sleep more hours without pain waking me! I can kneel on the bed (ask anyone with replaced knees what if anything, they can kneel on). My wife likes it, but meh, in her words, "The bed was fine before, and it's fine now." (Her sleep number is 80)In closing, with my health issues, and surgeries, I am learning to focus on 'quality of life'. And stuff that can improve my quality of life is important to me. This is one of those things. I am sorry this is such a wordy review, but I hope people reading this will understand that this isn't just a chunk of foam. It is REAL memory foam, and yes, you DO need to let it lay out for 1-3 days BEFORE putting it on your bed. Lastly, I do suggest putting it under a mattress pad or the like, to make changing the bedding easier on a regular basis.I do check my email, and I do reply to comments, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

I am a side sleeper and did not want to pay more than $700 bucks for a memory foam mattress, but I needed one of these; and I gotta tell you, the 3 inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper gets the job done. It is so incredibly comfortable. It comforts your whole body like a hug. I sleep so good and my arm does not lose circulation when I sleep on my side. I wake up a brand new happy person. It is easy to put on the bed, but I had to purchase king size fitted sheets because I could no longer use my queen sheets after I used this fantastic memory foam mattress topper. No regrets. It's worth it!

Love it! I've used high density memory foam for years and this mattress pad is definitely high density and great quality. I expected the memory foam smell when I opened it, but there was no smell at all. Within an hour it was fully expanded. It's very comfortable and I'd highly recommend it.First two pics are right after opening. Third is 30 minutes and fourth is after an hour.

Ever since I got this I've fallen back in love with my bed. I had a 10 year old mattress that I couldn't afford to replace. After a fair amount of research, I decided to go with this model due to the positive reviews and the affordable price point (I have a California king mattress). I am so glad I finally pulled the trigger on this. My husband and I were waking up with back and neck aches, so bad that I was popping Advils and prescription strength Tylenol every morning as soon as I rolled out of bed. Now, we both sleep sound and wake up pain free. We've had this for a few weeks now. I will update after a fair amount of time to share how well it holds up.

I love a firm bed but I am a side sleeper and I noticed that in the morning I suffered from body aches, blaming getting old, I tried a sleep memory foam mattress topper at a friend's place and I love the bed so much I decided to get one on Friday (impulse buy with great reviews), I received it first thing on Sunday and without any down time, was added on to my mattress and I put the fitted sheet back (nothing special is required), I used it for a nap with my kids, they loved it and sunday night I was pretty excited to get to bed. I woke up this morning feeling fantastic, not achy. I highly recommend this product. It transformed my mattress, for the price and the effort = Worth it

I'm 5' 8" and 145 lbs. (I got a Novaform 3” Seasonal Memory Foam Mattress Topper, and it was too firm for me sleeping on my side... granted I sleep in a 55 - 60 degree cold room). This CertiPur topper is amazing for sleeping deeply... on my side or back. Also, I've tried several toppers that "breathe" or are made of "gel" and advertise a cooler feel. They're all way too cold for me, even in the summer. My guess (just a guess) on who this is ideal for: 90 - 160 lb person who likes to sleep on their back. 130 - 180 lb person who likes to sleep on their side. That would be for those preferring average firmness.

I bought this topper for my son, because he has so much trouble sleeping on the mattress I gave him. He sleeps much better now, but he wanted me to tell everybody that this topper is more effective for back sleepers than side sleepers. He sleeps deeper and with less waking on this topper, as long as he's on his back.

This topper has made a big difference when i sleep, i wake up with much much fewer muscle spasms/cramp then before. I have a very bad back.Make sure to use a mattress pad over the top of this, all memory foam toppers will be too hot unless they have a good mattress pad atop.This is significantly firmer then the lucid memory foam topper I had before, however it is still soft enough that if i lay on it on hard floor it will bottom out where my butt is. It hasn't shown any signs of retaining a indent(last topper did) and has kept my back feeling much better.
