This is a great kitchen gadget for people. I have used it daily since receiving it. The shape of the handle makes inserting into the (usually hard) surface of the apple a breeze (as well as the teeth on the knife end). The grip is so comfortable and sturdy. It's easy to keep clean, including removing the core, as it pops open for easy maintenance. It's very well made. I recommend this to anyone who does a lot of work with apples (the only thing I've used it for is apples so I don't have review information for anything else. The saw-tooth blade cuts into the apple easily. overall great product

This is a highly rated apple corer & it lives up to its ease of use and effectiveness. I bought it to core apples in preparation for slicing and drying them. It cored the apples quickly with a sharp steel blade and a twisting /pushing motion utilizing the easy grip handle. The lever to release the core was very helpful and clean up was a breeze by rinsing with soap and water and drying (being careful of the sharp blade). It's described as dishwasher safe but I've read that putting items with sharp cutting blades in the dishwasher dulls them.

Only thing I dont like about it is how it can open up when using it to take out the core. It is cool that it can open to take out the core, but I think it makes the usage of the product uncomfortable

So pleased with this apple corer tool! It's sturdy, sharp and extremely effective. I purchased it about a year and a half ago and only hand wash it; have never put it in dishwasher although they say it's dishwasher safe. However, it's so easy to clean that we dont see the need to as a simple rinse is all that's ever needed. Ergonomic design makes coring apples a breeze. I highly recommend it. Great price too.

My absolute favourite apple corer of all time. I hear people complain about theirs but i've never had a problem with this. The trickiest part is washing it after use, so I try to always do it immediately after use so nothing hardens on and its so easy. It's honestly the best. I didn't know apple corers could be so good, but they can. The handle on it makes it nice and stable to hold when trying to cut through the core. The fact that you can open the circular long bit that cuts makes it easy to remove the cut core right away. Great design. Lasting ages!
