Strong, durable, and reliable.
These filters really are tough. I use them primarily in a 5-gallon Toddy but also for larger-scale cold brew batches in a brite tank with a beer brewing company. We put 6 pounds of coffee in, zip tie them shut, and toss them in with over 60 gallons of water. Despite the fact that they're paper, I have yet to find a bag with a busted seal or tear (other than from careless use with a knife while cutting the zip ties). The cold brew also turns out fantastic, restraining just enough but allowing soluables and oils through.

A Must-Have for Clarified Milk Punch!
Delving into the world of clarified milk punch requires certain tools of the trade, and these Commercial Cold Brew Coffee Filters have proven absolutely essential. What a difference these made! I had previously tried using smaller filters, only to learn quickly that there really isn't a substitute for these robust 20" x 20" filters.Although advertised primarily for coffee, I can attest they work beautifully for milk punch - a fact echoed by rave reviews that I received for the Christmas clarified milk punch I made using them. The filters are sturdily built, holding together well under the rigours of the filtering process.Just a note for first-time buyers – these are just the filter bags, so if you need the bucket or rest of the system you'll need to purchase that separately. But as for the filters themselves, they are truly worth each cent for their performance and reliability. So, for anyone conjuring up their own magical brew of clarified milk punch, or I'm sure any coffee or tea, I highly recommend these filters. They will elevate your production process to new levels.

Strong filter with large capacity BUT allows lots of fines (silt) to come through.
Strong filter with large capacity but it should be noted that it is a perforated filter and NOT a non-woven filter. I have used all of the typical methods for making large batches of cold brew (pillow cases, almond milk strainer etc) this filter rates the lowest (SEE PICTURES BELOW). I used it to make a 2 gallon batch of cold brew and as you can see lots of fines passed through the filter even after I doubled the filter and strained a second time. I us a commercial grade BUNN grinder and grind the beans on the most coarse setting (which is very course!) available. This bag would be best for loose leaf tea but I can't see using it to get "CLEAN" cold brew. For now I will continue to use up the other 49 filters until they are gone but do not plan to re-order. :(

Great Product
We make at least one 5 gallon batch of cold brew a day in our local coffee shop and spending $70+ on filters was not ideal. these filters are a great alternative to the Toddy brand. They are thicker and have more of a fabric feel to them rather than being a thin paper. They are the same size as the Toddy brand filters. It is nice not have to worry if the filter is going to break on you, because these do not. The only thing different you get with the Toddy brand filters is pre-cut string to tie the filters closed. Overall a great product.
