I seldom write reviews of the items I buy on Amazon, however, for the Yacig Multi Functional Pens, I feel I must. At 72, my eyesight is not what it was, and I have difficulty seeing in the dusk or poorly lit areas. The LED light on the pen solves this problem and I can now see what I am writing clearly. As far as comfort goes, I am able to hold it easily and it is much more comfortable than the thin pens I was use to. Also, it has helped my “shaky” handwriting with the smooth writing ink without smudging or smearing. It comes with a spare refill as well as spare batteries, something I have not seen elsewhere. They say, “30 day no-hassle refund & return for 100% satisfaction”, and I must say they live up to that statement. I had one issue and they handled the issue completely and quickly. Mandy, the support representative was quick to respond and resolved my issue very fast and her follow-up was impressive. My wife writes critiques of plays and takes notes during the plays (in the dark). I bought her one of each color to see which one would be noticed the least by the audience around her. The white light is bright and more noticeable by others in the dark than the red or blue, but all 3 provide great lighting. She loves them! I use to have several pens on my desk, but now, the only one I use is my Yacig Multi Function Pen.

I purchased this pen set to use to keep our Boat's Log when on a longer trip which involves some night sailing, hence it'll be dark when we make the log entry. The set arrived on time (on my Chosen Amazon Day) along with another item. The set came in what appears to be a waterproof zip lock type bag. In the bag were: 3 Pens, 6 Refills, and 3 sets of replacement batteries. Clear and easy to read Instructions and a Satisfaction support sheet. The pens write almost a fine point, and the LED is very bright! We'll have no problems filling out the Log entries in the dark sailboat cockpit. The pens have a push button on the end opposite the nib. 1 push extends the Pen, 2nd push retracts it, 3rd push extends the pen and turns on the LED, 4th push retracts it and turns the LED off. Pen feels comfortable to hold, it's not skinny, but certainly not too fat. I'm really pleased with this purchase. Certain that I'll be able to buy replacement batteries. Battery Type is AG4 and each pen uses 3 of the batteries. They all come with 3 batteries installed in addition to the pack of 9 batteries included in the pack. Update after 6 months. Well, I was expecting to wear the batteries out, but after 6 months including a 3 week Trip to the Bahamas where I routinely used the pen (I only took one on board for that trip) still no sign of needing to replace the batteries. I'm careful about using them, turning the light off while I think of the next bit to write in my paper blog each night. So I would up my original 5 stars to 10. Love them!

Great pen to administer the Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST)

It's like everything I wanted was made to exist in this pen. It writes in the dark. What more could you ask for? Let me tell you because there is an answer. 1. Battery life is short. Decent, but not too long. 2. The light is too bright! I actually wrap tape around the edges up the light cap so that the light isn't too obvious when I'm taking notes in a dark place. 3. The ink itself is okay. Someone that's a stickler for pens enough to want a glow-in-the-dark pen would appreciate a darker, thinner, smoother finish. I'd prefer a single, rechargeable pen, even if it were more expensive than the set.

Works as advertised. Light is very bright out of the box. Writes smoothly, good functioning as pen. Will see how long it lasts, but pleased with product so far.

I've used several different types of pens with lighted tips over the years. The major fault with them is that the pen tip is exposed by turning the top of the pen and the light is turned on by pressing the button at the top of the pen. Since my major use of a lighted pen is to record ideas when I wake up during the night, performing this double operation has been a bit tricky to execute. The Yacig lighted tip pen solved this problem by requiring only a press on the top button to expose the writing tip and to illuminate the light simultaneously. From the off position, with no writing tip or light, the first press of the top button exposes the pen, the second press retracts the tip, and the third press both exposes the pen and lights the tip. I usually have the pen pre-prepared with two presses so that one press in the dark exposes the writing tip and illuminates it simultaneously. The pen writes smoothly with no ink skips or globby buildup even though I keep it on its side next to my bed. The light is bright and pure white. The mechanism feels positive and doesn't feel in the least bit flimsy. I've used the pen for more than six months without changing the battery and it's still as smooth and bright as it originally was. I use it occasionally, so that might one reason for its long battery life. The pen comes with two refills as well as a replacement battery. I've recently purchased a three-pack of these pens and am using them in various places around my home as well as in meetings during projected presentations when the lights are out.

I use these ALL THE TIME AT WORK. They are so worth it. I have had these for years now, I have to get driver's to sign paperwork and I have to write while in dark at their trailer so it's nice for me and truck drivers, I don't know if drivers actually buy them except one he liked mine and told his wife he wanted some for Christmas last year, he came back for another load this past summer and was showing off to me LoL. His wife didn't know they existed like him till he came here. This is the best pen ever. I actually wish stores would have them. Extra batteries and ink replacement. Big big winner 🏆 here go ahead I dare you to put it in your cart and buy it. You will love it 💕💕 warning they have a tendency to grow legs and disappear from your hands at least mine do with driver's and I do give them away and of course I buy more LoL 🤣
