Great product! So easy to use. Glad I found this. Saved so much time and heartache.

I do my own irrigation repairs except for valves. That I leave to my irrigation guy. Since we have owned this house, 4 years, I've added 11 sprinkler heads and repaired several breaks. The builder didn't waste a dime on irrigation quality when this house was built. Nearly everything has been replaced. This device saved me a lot of trouble adding new runs and repairing the ones that just flat broke. It is easy to use and does not leak when powered up.

My use for this was a little unconventional. I had jerry rigged a shower arm about maybe twenty years ago when my mother could no longer take baths or stand long in the shower so I could install a shower sprayer. It finally failed and to fix it right I would probably have to open the wall. I searched locally for an easy fix then came to Amazon and found this little guy! It’s the exact part I found so long ago and if it lasts anywhere close to the first one I’ll be way too old to be doing my own repairs.

I used it to connect pvc to galvanized piping in an irrigation system. Galvanized pipe was prepped by rust remover, sanding, and cold galvanizing spray paint. Did not leak after installation. At some point I’m sure the galvanized pipe will rust and might cause a leak. At that point I’ll call it a drip irrigation feature . Installation is easy as long as you have enough pipe or gap to slide the union on.

Worked well on a pipe that was stripped of threads.The compression fitting held tight and no leaks.Highly recommend these.
