Shimano Sora RD-R3000 Sora Rear Derailleur, 9-Speed - SS

Works great

Awesome. I replaced my Rear Derailleur Tiagra 9 speed from my 2010 Specialized Secteur Sport Triple with this Sora one. The bike came with everything Sora except the rear derailleur, so putting this one on fit like a glove. My old Derailleur is noticeably lighter, but needs some TLC, so I’ll rebuild it, but for now I’ll use this one. The derailleur is built tough and shifts very well. It has all the components to make fine adjustments if you need to. I had my shift and brake wires done as well so I had to make sure everything was set back to normal before making adjustments. Overall great product and I’m excited to give my bike another 16 years of life!

What can I say? It's a Shimano, really quality stuff. Easy to replace the short cage.

Arrived today shipped in a paper envelope with no padding. Not even bubble wrap. Seems to have survived, but I'm pretty disappointed in that effort. Other than that, it looks to be as advertised.

So far so good. Fit perfectly and shifts well. My old derailleur started slipping. I tried to adjust it but it seemed to be bent. I've used this one several times now with many thousand of feet of hard climbing and, so far, it has not slipped once. I would recommend this derailleur.

It was a good price, easy to install and adjust. Works great.
