Got this for my teenage son who is very the hard to impressed. He loves it. Great quality and craftsmanship.

I got it as a gift for a friend who retired, and it is a beautiful knife. Everything about it seems to exude quality, but since it was a gift, I never used it and probably won't know how it does long term.

Absolutely beautiful and absolutely sharp

A little ago I wrote a seller's review about this knife and for some unknown reason I called it an Old Henry knife ( senior moment ) and my apologies. This is and incredible and well made knife and I would not hesitate to purchase again.

I’ve had Old Timers for 40 plus years all high quality. But this one is poorly made and I tossed it in the garbage. Stay away from this one.

This is a nice-looking knife. Unfortunately, Old Timer knives aren’t made quite the way they used to be, and the price reflects that. For what you’re getting, though, this knife is priced very well. The fit and finish show some issues—there are visible tooling marks, and the blade isn’t perfectly centered and where the bolsters meet the wood are definitely not refined. On the positive side, it arrived very sharp. It carries well in the pocket, operates smoothly, and the lockup feels solid. Another plus is that there isn’t a large, in-your-face Old Timer logo on the blade as shown in the product photos, which I actually prefer. Overall, I would purchase this knife again at this price point. However, I’d gladly pay a bit more if Old Timer put a little extra effort into the fit and finish that used to define this classic knife.
