I bought this tool specifically to help me with manual sanding. If you do not use a power tool such as a sander or angle grinder with a sanding disk, and like to sand wood by hand, this is a great tool to increase your efficiency.The size of the tool is large enough to hold half a sandpaper. Fold the sandpaper in half (vertically), and tear it to create two identical pieces. The sander tool can take the half sandpaper. It has four knobs which you need to rotate by 90 degrees, and the base plate will come loose. Now place the base plate in the centre of the half sandpaper (sanding side down), and carefully fold the two edges over onto the base plate. Once you have folded the edges onto the plate, place the sander back onto the plate. Make sure the edges of the sandpaper are fully pressed down by the sander. And then turn the knobs by 90 degrees again to secure the sandpaper. You are ready to sand!I sanded about a dozen of mango wood strips (from the mango crate) and with a 120 grit sandpaper, I was able to finish the job within a few minutes without tiring myself. The tool allows you to exert uniform pressure over a larger area as compared to holding the sandpaper in hand. Also it protects your hand from any chips or splinters.Overall, it's an extremely helpful tool for sanding large flat surfaces.

I used this to sand large furniture for painting. It hold the sand paper well. The handle is strong enough. Though made of plastic and seems fragile, if handled well it does the job. It is better to use the correct grade of sandpaper and use long strokes to grind than use force on this. It makes sandpapering wood so comfortable and gives an even finish. Your palms and fingers do not get tired. A good product at a decent price.

Nice product, effective and saves timeIt has nice locking mechanism which grips sand paper well compared to clip type sander. It's made of plastic, grip is also good. Not made for rough use. Decent quality product.Got one sand paper pre installed !!

It's actually not bad. At the time I purchased and based on some of the reviews I read, I didn't have much of an expectation from this and thought as long as it serves my purpose, well and good. But this is a good quality product. And compared to some other ones on Amazon, this holds the sandpaper more firmly due to its locking mechanism. Definitely a good purchase.

This really is an awesome product. Good build, quality and very useful especially for small sanding purposes. I am actually surprised by the negative reviews. Don’t think just go for it. Extremely value for money product as well

Very cheap quality product.difficult in replacing sanding paper.made up of poor materials.cost is too high.the map is 190. But they have replaced it with 399.
