Nintendo 2DS Crystal Blue [video game]

I love this DS. The crystal blue DS is a great throwback to the gameboys. My son calls it a robot DS because he can see all the parts inside. Its no different than the other 2ds. As far as a gaming system I would recommend this for younger video gamers. My son is 5 and its perfect for him. There is no hinge to break and it fits nicely in small hands. The price point is much lower than the 3ds as well which makes it a budget friendly option. It plays all the DS and 3ds games but does not have 3d capabilities. I do recommend buying a protective case for it, this is our second one because the first took a tumble down the stairs. Now my son is not allowed to carry it without a case.

Great product. Comfortable, and sleek. Good for kids, and also adults. The see-through blue is reminiscent of the 90's gameboy colors and n64's. Highly recommended.

Waited almost a month to get a defective 2ds it doesn’t charge at all sooooo disappointing

The 2ds is good but the thumbsick could be improved upon.

Seller shipped a defective system. The volume slider was broken and has no sound playing at all. Also the rubber thumbstick was missing. I can at least play my games, just without sound. Seller hasn't responded to my request to exchange for another system.

I had a DS Lite for years but got rid of it. I wanted a 3DS but didn't wanna spend 200+ bucks for a 3DSXL... So I got this. I figured I wouldn't use the 3D (I used it in store once and it gave me a headache pretty quickly). I also remember my hands cramping up quite frequently from holding it constantly as I do have fairly large hands. This is just perfect for me. Sturdy build, looks awesome, comfortable to hold. Only issues I have and they're minimal are the home button is pretty crooked, and the way I have our router set up is to require N in order to connect. After talking to Nintendo I learned it doesn't support wireless N so I had to change the setting on our router. Other than that its been pretty awesome and super nostalgic!

To be honest I didn't buy any 3DS console cause I only buy consoles to play Pokemon. Spending $200+ on a new 3DS (at the time 3DS was released) wasn't -for me- the most comfortable choice. But with this little fella: The price was just perfect; the COLOR OMG! just like the 90s -oh the feelings- all the circuits and lights just great! Took like a day or two to get used to a new way of holding the device but very very good gaming experience. Ps.- I really never use the console in the street while walking or using transport so I store the console in mi backpack, no problem with that at least.

It's a 2DS! Bought this for my 7 year old brother for christmas, despite me not being a fan of 2DS systems when they first came out. It shipped on time, and looks absolutely stunning, and the transparent blue colour will certainly trigger nostalgia in any older kids or adults that grew up with transparent blue gameboys and pokemon cartridges. I did have a problem with updating the firmware on it however, it threw an error, and the battery came surprisingly low charged for a Nintendo product. For now the firmware issue doesn't have any effect on the play ability or usability, but I'll keep an eye on it. As with any good review however, I'll keep this review updated overtime because of obvious reasons.

Great condition. Bought this because it reminded me of the oldschool colors. Too bad they never made a purple one! Loving this device more than my 3DS XL. Comfy to hold and plays great. Smaller screen/resolution but definitely crisper display because of no upscaling.
